Great centrally located hotel.

Location, location, location.
Very pleasant stay in the Caledonia suite. Lovely large old fashioned room, very comfortable sleep but something wrong with the shower which we reported. Breakfast was good enough.

Great location, good welcome from staff, staff performance.
So we stayed overnight to go to The Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry. Had a great welcome from staff on the reception desk (including a wee sherry). Got our key to the room and initially thought the room was lovely, nice decor, had tea/coffee making facilities and a large wet floor shower room en suite. So far so good then we noticed the conjoining door into the room next door. Not too bad until we heard the neighbours come into their room around half seven at night obviously in very high spirits (probably because they'd had a few). They were very noisy and we could hear everything they said and did due to the fact it was only a door between us and not an actual wall. My wife went to the reception desk to advise of the noise coming from next door to which staff promptly responded by coming to listen and said they would have a word with them. By this point the party had left their room. Fast forward to us returning from The Enchanted Forest at around 11pm. The neighbours tumbled into their room and proceeded to be loud and started singing, then came a very loud vibrating noise which turned out to be the pipes (we figured this out afterwards). We complained to the reception desk again about them and they promptly responded again, this time by going to their door. Well thereafter we had to tolerate them "talking" very loudly about how disgruntled they were that people had complained and how dare we, etc. In some fairness to the couple we could hear their every move because it was merely a door that separated us and not a wall. To summarise: please check if booking at the Fisher's Hotel if the room you will occupy has a conjoining door as I guarantee you will hear everything your neighbour does!! We are in the process of complaining to Fisher's because the money we paid for the room was not worth it.

Fabulous overnight stay

Location, Nightlife, Restaurants
We had a very pleasant overnight stay. We had a lovely clean room with the bed being comfy and brilliant pillows. We always stay in a the Fishers Hotel when we go to Pitlochry as the location is brilliant and we are always very happy with our stay. Lovely, pleasant hard working staff with nothing being to much trouble for them.

Cheap but tired looking.

Price, Location and Check In lady with a welcome nip.
The stay was fine overall if you just need a bed and a shower. I stayed with my brother in a twin for 2 nights. A lot of things were being neglected around the Hotel (Little things) There were loads of lightbulbs out around the Hotel and restaurant and other little niggles. The breakfast was very over cooked on both days. 2nd day we had breakfast all the food had been removed (at 09.45). They close at 10.00. We still got it but it was well overdone. Solid blackpudding, haggis and egg. (The bread was nice). The bar manager and the reception lady were nice and accomodating. But the rest of the staff we encountered seemed very unhappy to be there and grumpy. I would recomend this Hotel for a stag party or similar but would never take my wife here if I were to come back to Pitlochry. It is being done up at the moment, but the breakfast needs a lot of attention.
