Traditional hotel

Location. Good food. Good staff
Always pleasant though rooms can have creaky boards and long walk to lift. Quirky and pleasant. Different from the run of the mill hotels

Targetted towards the older age person

the hotel is not a family hotel. The rooms were very very tired and felt dirty. The other residents in the hotel were predominately older people. No young children or families. I wouldn't go to this hotel again. It needs serious upgrading.

Best Weekend Hotel Stay

Location was superb, Food to dye for and staff were the most helpful and friendliest encountered in a long time !
Myself and three childhood friends had a wonderful weekend at the Fisher's Hotel, from the moment we stepped through the front door and into reception, everything went smoothly at check-in and check-out, reservations for dinner were a breeze, our room was comfortable, clean and had all we needed for the duration of our stay. The dinning room staff were very helpful with explaining the menu and advising us on our wine selection, they were also very prompt at taking and serving us our meal orders. We did not feel rushed as has happened at other hotels we have visited on our yearly get-togethers. This year was my turn to book our little get together and I could not be more pleased with how everything went, everyone was delighted with all aspects of our stay at this lovely hotel, even the weather was kind to us! Will definitely be back and recommending it to other friends and family.

Our booking had been made for two days after our arrival date but the young gentleman at reception arranged a nice room for us anyway. This wa a long holiday weekend. Everything went smoothly from then on including a nice meal and a few drinks. Parking available on site. I recommend this Hotel.

Great centrally located hotel.

Location, location, location.
Very pleasant stay in the Caledonia suite. Lovely large old fashioned room, very comfortable sleep but something wrong with the shower which we reported. Breakfast was good enough.

Great location, good welcome from staff, staff performance.
So we stayed overnight to go to The Enchanted Forest in Pitlochry. Had a great welcome from staff on the reception desk (including a wee sherry). Got our key to the room and initially thought the room was lovely, nice decor, had tea/coffee making facilities and a large wet floor shower room en suite. So far so good then we noticed the conjoining door into the room next door. Not too bad until we heard the neighbours come into their room around half seven at night obviously in very high spirits (probably because they'd had a few). They were very noisy and we could hear everything they said and did due to the fact it was only a door between us and not an actual wall. My wife went to the reception desk to advise of the noise coming from next door to which staff promptly responded by coming to listen and said they would have a word with them. By this point the party had left their room. Fast forward to us returning from The Enchanted Forest at around 11pm. The neighbours tumbled into their room and proceeded to be loud and started singing, then came a very loud vibrating noise which turned out to be the pipes (we figured this out afterwards). We complained to the reception desk again about them and they promptly responded again, this time by going to their door. Well thereafter we had to tolerate them "talking" very loudly about how disgruntled they were that people had complained and how dare we, etc. In some fairness to the couple we could hear their every move because it was merely a door that separated us and not a wall. To summarise: please check if booking at the Fisher's Hotel if the room you will occupy has a conjoining door as I guarantee you will hear everything your neighbour does!! We are in the process of complaining to Fisher's because the money we paid for the room was not worth it.
