small basic hotel with thin walls

The front desk was helpful
This hotel is located in a secluded area quite far from public transportation. Given the hilly nature of Lisbon, it may be difficult for older persons to stay here. The stairs are very narrow and dark - since the building belongs to the those built about a century ago. It is also quite difficult to locate since there is no obvious signs to indicate it is a hotel. If you arrive late at night you will not be able to check in. The shower is basic and you have to be careful not to get your head scalded by the sudden steam of boiling water which can just as suddenly shower down icy cold water! So you need to move your body in and out of the shower. No trays to put your soap. I think the TV is on loan from the museum. You need to punch several keys before it switches on.
