Simplistic bamboo bungalow with a touch of luxury....
Loved, loved our stay here! The rooms are a bit basic, but with a setting like this, you won't mind! The beach and surrounding waters are stunning...guests can use their kayaks, stand up paddles, etc....it's great fun to try them or do nothing at all. The staff are wonderful and I highly recommend walking up to the tower to check out the views!

island bound
setting, pearl farm trip, cook out
Highly overpriced!!! They charged us for boat trip to and from @ 3,000 pesos!!! The food was always buffet style with over cooked, cold and basic food!!! Very basic drinks served warm. Not at all what you would expect at a resort of this style and price!! I would not return!! Also no hot water 2/3 of the time there!!

Amazing Experience
Truly an amazing experience, with a great staff. The rooms were hot at night, but that was the only thing bad I can say.

Amazing island
Staff, location, privacy
Perfect stay. The staff and location are amazing. In the off season we nearly had the island to ourselves. The pearl farm tour and foundation are educational and impressive. I was a little disappointed they didn't make it easier to buy thier pearls as the selection is limited on the island and the operation gets corporate and impersonal in Manilla. I could have stayed much longer than our 6 days if the food was better, but it was certainly fresh and plentiful.

Stunning Robinson Crusoe paradise island
Solitude, Views, beach, sympathetic buildings
For us this place was perfect. Absolute heaven. Its secluded, quiet, relaxing etc what more can you want? The resort is sympathetic to the environment and the staff are unobtrusive and get on with their job. I say this because I think you need to be aware of these things before booking. Because this is remote I don't think you should expect; Ultra high speed wifi, staff attending to your every need waiting on you hand on foot, luxury Egyptian cotton, etc.. This isn't that kind of place. If you want that go and find a faceless, corporate resort. Instead, check in, turn off your phone, put your swimming trunks on and relax..... The staff were super friendly, and I loved their level of service, approachable, friendly, nice etc... Not uptight in any way. The rooms are simple, but you are paying for the view and the location (and what view/location it is!!!) not mod cons. They are clean, charming and comfortable. If what I have described is your thing, book it now, its amazing and you will not be disappointed. I think a few people appear to have booked this with unrealistic expectations. Also remember this is an island, everything has been imported, great care and investment has been put into the place and it looks stunning. Hence you are not paying $50/dollars per night. If you want remote, you must accept it comes at a cost. I liked the food, always a good variety - 5-6 pots from which you could help yourself and always plenty of it. Really enjoyed the Pearl Farm, trip a wander around the island and Amber the dog rocks !!!! (and i don't like dogs!!)

Flower Island for honeymooners
Location and privacy, excellent coral reef, views from the top of the island
The island is beautiful as are the beaches and snorkelling. It is private and the staff are friendly and helpful. You are paying for this. The room we stayed in was okay but really nothing special. Certainly not luxury. Dripping shower, mosquito net with holes in. It let the rest of the island and facilities down. Room view and location excellent. The transfer fee is exorbetant and we found this all over the Island (1 boat transfer was £90!). We had a nice time there but feel it's overpriced.

Best stay in Palawan
EVERYTHING. the food, location, staff, beach, activities were all fantastic. Would recommend it to everyone.
We travelled round Palawan for 2 weeks and stayed in 6 places on total and this was by far the best. Faultless.
