Boutique hotel with great location

Rustic-style well-decorated rooms, fort-theme, location
We extended our stay and enjoyed the rustic style of the room and bathroom as well as the location to KS Road without being within earshot of the debauchery. However, keep in mind the rooftop bar closes at 2AM and therefore you may have to listen to drunk customers stumble down the stairs on their way out.

Boutique hotel definitely underrated

Clean, cool fort theme, great decor
We loved the rustic fort theme, especially with the cement wall bathroom. The wooden lamps made for great decor in the room. Yes, the (Superior Double) room is small (forget trying to bring more than 1 suitcase in here), but as flashpackers, it was perfectly good for us. There is a rooftop bar that gets pretty full at night, despite its high prices, but is not accessible as a common area during the day, nor are there other parts used as a common social area, which is a bit dissapointing. If you're a light sleeper, be warned that drunk people come stumbling down the staircase occasionally till around 1:30AM - didn't bother us because we are deep sleepers. The bed was quite comfortable and large and the A/C is a great respite from the Bangkok heat. The coffee shop/internet cafe is out of business and there is no breakfast but there are plenty of food options near by as well as two different 7-11 convenience stores directly next to and across from Fortville. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Good place good room and clean but no train

Clean, special, convenient
It was a good experience, overall. Food around the area, 7eleven.. Quiet. Downside: room temperature is hot due to the spotlight from the outside

Fair Choice

location, helpful front desk staff
The room is small, which is no surprise from the description. But it's especially tight after two pieces of luggage. Bathroom also small, but the hot water and good water pressure. However the shower did get everywhere. Both room and bathroom were clean. Bed is beyond firm - it is HARD. Not a normal mattress at all - no foam or springs. Not sure what it was made of, but it felt like wood. The front desk staff was very helpful. The bar upstairs was nice, especially for a young adult crowd. But it's not a common area as pictured - it is closed in the day. Location was 5 minute walk to water taxi, bus and main roads. Fair price for what is received, but I would stay elsewhere for the bed alone.

The service was great!

location, service, comfort
It was great! The location is peaceful and close to the must-see sights of Bangkok. My boyfriend and I were really impressed by the professionalism and excellent customer service of Fortville, especially by that blonde young lady who was wearing eye glasses.

Friendly staff
Worst experience ever! The room is clean but small. The most horrible thing is that you can't fall asleep cos the room is NOT soundproof and drunk people come back late!! If you are a party person who always stay up, maybe you can choose this place. Otherwise, Don't !
