It was very noce, in particular very clean and organised room. If you use buffet for dinner, you will be very satisfied. It is a little bit downside is that the hotel is a bit away from the city centre.

We were a group of 8 people for business trip and had fantastic time especially to have gathering together in the penthous type big lounge at night. And also enjoyed to make our own meal at the well-equipped kitchen even with washing machine.

We were three girls who all were very excited about this hotel. Large rooms, kitchen with everything you possibly could need, comfortable beds, two bathrooms, TV and Ipod dock. Staff are friendly and serviceminded. Very helpful. The bars close to hotel are nice too.

Nice Apartment Style Room Next to the Canal.

Apartment style with washer and kitchen. Good Location
Our room was comfortable and large. It seemed a bit worn but OK. I had asked for a high floor but was given a ground floor unit with a poor view. I feel like it was the "Agoda" room. All equipment worked. Lots of nearby restaurants. Good Vietnamese food too. We are satisfied.

Cleanliness, space and the welcome the receptionist was exceptionally pleasant
Really enjoyed the stay we were given a 2 bedroomed apartment which was lovely as we had decided to take our nephew with us at the last minute he loved having his own room instead of having to share with us.we were allowed to check in 2 hours early which was very helpful. The whole apartment was spotless and very well equipped . We were pleasantly surprised to discover that the master bedroom was en suite as there was a very nice family bathroom we could have cooked a full scale family meal in the well equipped kitchen had we chosen to

Best ever stay in UK.

everything are perfect! free wifi, stunning views, comfortable rooms and sofa. great kitchen. near to town......etc.
this is the best hotel during my 10 days stay in uk. rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, wifi provided foc! kitchen are fully equipped. living hall with large comfortable sofa, lcd tv, dvd etc. all the windows can be open for fresh air and there is a balcony attached to living hall. the view from the rooms are stunning! canal and the edinburgh castle! me and my friends love this hotel very much, will definitely stay again for our future visits.
Travel tip: Parking charge GBP8 per 24 hour. Princes street and Edinburgh Castle are about 15-20 minutes walking distance. With the Room key, we entitle to get discount from nearby restaurants.

  • From the South, take the A702 through Morningside and onto Bruntsfield that in turn leads onto Leven Street and Home Street. At the crossroads where Leven Street joins Home Street, turn left into Gilmore Place (The King's Theatre will be on your right). Drive on for about 100 metres and you will see Gilmore Place Church on your left - take the right hand turn onto Lower Gilmore Place immediately opposite. From here follow signs for the EQ2 Apartments.

From Edinburgh Airport, take the A8 through Corstophine to Haymarket Terrace and then follow the diversion signs to the left going in to Magdala Crescent. Turn left on to Eglington Crescent and follow this road around before taking a left turn on to Palmerston Place. From here take a right turn on to Rothesay Place, then right on to Manor Place and right at the traffic lights in to Chester Street. Proceed in the left lane and turn left in to Palmerston Place. Continue through 2 sets of traffic lights on to Torphichen Street. Follow this road around to the traffic lights and stay in the left lane. Turn left on to Morrison Street. Where Morrison Street then meets the main junction at Lothian Road (Odeon cinema shall be on your right) turn right on to Lothian Road and take the lane for the A702. At the top of Lothian Road/Earl Grey Street there is a junction with three forks - take the right hand lane onto Home Street (A702). Once on Home Street, take the right hand lane and turn right onto Gilmore Place (the King's Theatre will be on your left). Drive on for about 100 metres and you will see Gilmore Place Church on your left - take the right hand turn onto Lower Gilmore Place immediately opposite. From here follow signs for the EQ2 Apartments.
