Good business hotel
Gym, location and big room
Stayed for 6 nights on business. Overall good hotel and (for me) on a perfect location. Especially the gym is good and also the Japanese restaurant. Always a bit struggling with the WIFI and the temperature of the (spacious) rooms.

Good hotel
Big room, nice gym
Stay here many times as it is close to our office. Rooms are big and the gym is great. Breakfast is moderate in my opinion, can have better bread. Also always a bit struggling with the temperature of the room.

Good hotel
Nice big room
Stayed for 4 nights for business. Rooms are good & big and also I like the gym very much. Location is also nice, at least for me. The only disappointment is that somehow the aircon cannot make the room cold, reported it to the desk but it was not solved. Had this issue also last time so it seems to be structural; bit annoying to sleep in a 'warm' room.

5 Star = Nice infrastructure and (Sincere service)
1. Location 2. Chamber maids 3. Bell boy
The above 3 items has never been more impressive. Always willing to take iniative and assist. These are the things regretfully the front desk is lacking. 1. Their smile is manufactured and i would be lucky to get more that one usually. 2. They do not know the basic principle of service with a smile. 3. They almost think that hotel itself is there to serve the guests instead of themselves. The management should transfer these people to Cypress Garden whom also offer not up to mark service. If i have to bear with bad service, i would rather choose cypress at a cheaper rate because the front desk at Grand Millennium Shanghai Hongqiao makes cypress garden looks better. 4. The procedures are not standardized. I am still staying in the hotel because of the location, hardworking and smiling chamber maids and bell boys. If any of these fail, i will find other accomodation. Five star facilities but four eggs for service. If you need more detais on the lack of service or failure in service delivery, please contact me.
