Great Hotel
Room with onsen, good location, free hotel shuttle bus
Very good location near kawaguchiko JR station and the hotel provide free shuttle bus for pick up and send to JR station service. We booked the twin room with onsen and the room very big and comfortable. We enjoyed the onsen in the room very much. Our room rates include breakfast and from the restaurant window can see beautiful Mt. Fuji. We love this hotel.

Excellent Service and Great Food
Service is great, Comfort, and Excellent dining experience
We have enjoyed our stay very much at our Mount Fuji facing room. The view from our window was great as Mount Fuji was directly at our sight. The other facing is the lake view. Unfortunately, as the hotel is located on the southern edge of the lake we can't see both lake and mountain in one view. Travelers wanting to have a single view of the lake and mount Fuji should stay on the Northern shore of the lake. This wasn't a big deal for us since most travelers should get out of the room to truly see the scenery. The hotel was built in the 1930s but was very well kept and has excellent heating for cold weather. We were very impressed with the excellent service and English speaking staff. As it was a half board, we had very good experience for the dinner and breakfast (just like in the TV travel programme "Japan Hour"). The Onsen was ok, not the best I have experienced.
