One of the best resort

Private beach r great, the staff is incredibly nice, the villa is great

It's one of the best resort I've been I will definitely come back anytime soon. It's a great resort, everything is too good totally out of my expectation. The only down side was their Japanese restuarant, their food is a nightmare. The sashimi is ok but the others r over cooked n its tasteless, it's the worst teppanyaki I've ever had. But other than that everything r marvellous!!!! Great private beach n environment!!! We will definatly coming back!!!!

A well decorated hotel with lots of activities!

Feast village dinner buffet, friendly staff, well decorated rooms
9.3
The island is just 10 mins boat transfer from jesselton point, when arrived jesselton point, the staffs are very friendly and reminded us to reserve seat from return trip. There were welcome drinks and chilled towel for welcoming, tasty drinks and the cold towel were nice! Check in time is too late at 3pm, arrived at 1:20pm, guests can start to use any resort activities, there are chambers near beach for you to relax, and toilets provide shower area even you cannot check in yet. The room was a big surprise to us, very big, and good atmosphere, a bath tub with sea salt provided, desperate toilets and shower area, a room for clothes and luggage, though the YES wifi is quite slow sometimes. Buffet dinner was in promotion rm100, it was very tasty and with a wide range of cuisine for selection, personally recommend the lam rack and beef on frying pan! The buffet breakfast was excellent too, guests can choose any fruits combination for fresh juices! Other food was tasty too! I personally appreciated the master chief( which I believed he is) coming out to guests tables for promoting some fresh made food! The activities were interesting. Stretching exercise, though it is simple stretching exercises, but we were inspired by the word "Yahai Pupuan", together with the stretching, which reminds us to stay happy every single day. It is also awesome to have Yoga class in the morning after breakfast. The room for yoga is ideal for it, quiet and nice. The stretching, balancing and meditation in this class gives is a great start of the day.

relaxing stay with the nature surrounding u

close to nature. silent stay. nice hotel room.
9
i like nature so it is really nice to be so close to them. the hotel charged us for conservation fee without prior notice but im still willing to contribute a penny for that because they did well on that. We did a lot ofsnorkelling and kayaking coz they are provided without any charge and the sea is just too clear and beautiful to resist. The service is generally ok but they did overlook some requests we made from time to time. Not fully professional but def friendly and helpful. The only thing to complain is the food and the very expensive boat trip We have no choice but to pay for the boat trip to get there. And also we have no choice but to stay in the hotel for dining. We have limited choice of food. They dinner is not cheap but the standard doesn't really comensurate with the price.

5* price but not 5* Luxury

The staff were friendly and the rooms were satisfactory
4.7
I found the resort facilities were not adequate for the amount of guests staying at the resort. Food was served buffet style with a wide variety but poor quality. The fine dinning seafood restaurant was again priced high and the only decent course we had was desert. Lots of children were staying at this resort, if your looking for an expensive family holiday this could be the place. Couples looking for a relaxed time choose somewhere else.

Wonderful Service Beautiful Location

Had a 3 nights stay, at the begining I thought it was a bit expensive. However, was worth the price for the quality of service and the amazing place it is in Gaya Island. Nice and spacious rooms, surrounded by incredible nature. The staff was very friendly, even organized a cake for a birthday celebration even i did not arrange it in advance. The restaurants are also excellent, you have a seafood one with fresh selections, a teppanyaki bar with a beautiful view. Swimming pool, beach and outdoor activities such as kayaking, snorkeling diving, paddle board, all well arrange. Recommend this place for a romantic or relaxed few days gettaway from busy city life style.

Traveling w Young Children & Being Pregnant

The exterior and the interior of the hotel, friendliness and attentiveness of staff, the private beach.
7.7
Overall it was fine and lovely. But being pregnant and traveling with young kids, i felt that the hotel should invest in buggies, to transport guests from point A to B. Because the resort was quite hilly. Most of the staff was great and very attentive. The only blunder was when we wanted to check in, we had to wait for more than an hour even though we had requested early check in time. Yes we were offered to rest in the waiitng chambers but it was a scorching hot day. Did not help with my mood. Another thing is, the set menu on the private beach. Felt trapped to eat what was offered. Had to choose one of two main dish and the others were non-negotiable. Price stated was per person, should have just stated price per set, would be less confusing. Other than that, we had a great stay at the resort.
