A noneventful and usual stay

Cleaniliness, location and staff efficeincy
7.7
It was a usual stay except that more nitty gritty are been observed like the room clock is not working. The card system to open the door is out of order and opening the door with the given key needs patience as it was difficult and took awhile to giggle the lock to open. The young receptionist was efficient in performing her duties but was not as warm and friendly as the other staffs.

Impersonal visit, comfortable bed!

Soft bed, location, price
8.3
In almost a month of traveling, the Gia Vien Hotel had the most comfortable bed we found--relatively soft, with soft pillows and smooth sheets. Aside from that, the hotel was rather unmemorable. There wasn't much staff interaction, hardly even the pleasantries of salutation upon arrival or at breakfast. Not much fresh fruit at breakfast and once it was gone there wasn't any more added. A decent variety of options, some soups, boiled eggs, etc., but nothing impressive or very fresh tasting. Plenty of eating options in the area, however.

Worth the miney

Clean decent and good location

Good, everyone helpful. As I came in one evening a young foreign couple asked me about how I liked it. I told them it was clean and decent and invited them to come take a look, they came up and took a hick look and said that was enough to convince them to move, as the hotel they were staying was out of of town, over priced and not very clean. Only thing I didn't like was not having any light from outside, while the room was well lit, that had some effect after a few days, but that was my choice based on the price.

Why is this hotel getting a Fantastic?

Locattion location location

I think this hotel is totally over-rated. It isn't fantastic at all. It's good. The staff are very nice. My room 101 was small with no window and no hot shower. I stayed three nights and the room wasn't cleaned on my last day. So, no fresh towels ans water. There was a lot of noise on the corridors as well.

Nice and clean hotel

It is clean. Location is good. Many restaurants just on the same street.
8.3
I forgot i had breakfast included in my accommodation...and they NEVER reminded me (or called me) what time is breakfast being served. I should have saved a lot for food. But hotel is clean, toilet is clean but towels should be changed already (they are all grey-colored already!). Pls change your toothpaste. Water pressure is good. There are a lot of restaurants just on the same street. Agencies for tours are also all very near. Staff are friendly but not so good in speaking English. I will definitely stay here again. Or maybe i can go get a cheaper hotel since i'm out the whole day.... ;)
