About Gioberti Hotel

Vibrant street life and historic sights await you outside the Gioberti Hotel which was built in 1900 and still stands as the nerve center of this frenetic city. Its 80 modest rooms are housed in a typical five-story Roman building painted light yellow with green shutters on the windows. Rooms contain all the basics like a private bathroom, direct dial telephone, fridge, safe, hair dryer, mini bar, and central air conditioning. Dining options include a bar, a nightclub, and an air conditioned restaurant. Some excellent streetside restaurants are just outside the hotel’s door. For visitors in Rome to do and see a lot for a day or two, Gioberti Hotel will suit you perfectly as it is very near the train station where the two subway lines intersect, allowing guests easy access to all the sights.

Excellent staff
Very near to Termini station 1-2minutes walk. Excellent, friendly & helpful staff. They arranged change of room for an invalid very quickly and made our stay very pleasant. Thanks.

Good location
Hotel is literally across the street from Termini station. However the area appears bit sketchy, many immigrants hanging around the street. Hotel room is big, but old. Its okay for short stay if location to train station is important.

Fantastic location for train travel
Stayed for one night in Rome having got the train in to Roma Termini and was leaving the next day for the airport. Checked in half an hour early and the guy behind the counter was very friendly and polite and helpful, not at all like some of the reviews mention. The room is basic but clean and very sufficient. Location wise this hotel is perfect if you are using the great train systems of Italy. It's not even 5 minutes walk from Roma Termini station and very easy to find. From the hotel we walked to the Colleseum and the Vatican, stopping at various other attractions along the way. If you like to walk then this is fine, otherwise from this hotel you can easily jump on the Metro line....something that was very efficiently described to us upon checking in. This is not a luxury hotel but is fairly priced considering the other options in Rome and very convenient.

Very nice
the location, the staff very polite
It was very nice. I have only one comment about the breakfast. There were no vegetable (tomatoes, pepper, olives ...) despite the fact that Italy is a country that produce a lot of vegetabbles

Great Location, Great Room
Location, Room, Sleep Quality
It was pleasant. Rome was the last city we explored before going home. My room was huge compared to other hotels in any other countries on the trip. It feels like an apartment. Bed was large and comfortable. Shower worked perfectly. It's completely quiet, no sounds from outside were heard. Staffs were friendly and informative. Free in-room Wi-Fi was fast, no buffers happened. 2 thumbs up!

An average hotel in a rough area..
Easy for transportation, clean
Generally it was ok, but the receptionist was unhelpful when I requested for a second cup for my girlfriend, he couldn't provide it, so I had to go and buy from the shop next door, this is unacceptable for any hotel on this planet !!!
