Boasting its three cottages featuring two walls of floor-to-ceiling glass with spectacular mountain views, Glass on Glasshouse was voted as The Best B&B in Australia 2011-2012. Marvel at the myriad of wildlife sounds at night, count the millions of stars, relax on the large deck, take an indulgent spa treatment in the dramatic freestanding double spa, listen to the rustling of the leaves in the trees, and become closer to nature. These are among some of the many memorable experiences making you not want to leave. To explore the surrounding area, the many Sunshine Coast attractions - such as Australia Zoo - are just 10 minutes away from the property. For entertainment, there's a HD LCD television, HiFi system, and Blu-Ray DVD player. If you are visiting during winters, experience a romantic two-sided fire which you can watch from the lounge or spa bath. You can either sit on the deck and watch the wild kangaroos or listen to the sounds of the kookaburras and black cockatoos. If guests are looking for a place with the wow factor, Glass on Glasshouse is it. Boasting its three cottages featuring two walls of floor-to-ceiling glass with spectacular mountain ... see more

Mixed experience

Location and access to the region. Views from the property were stunning.

Overall good. Accommodation was very good. We found the owners very pedantic with a list of don'ts. leaving shoes outside, don't put suitcase wheels on the floor etc. We used the sofa bed but were not able to put the space back to proper usable living area during the day for fear of scratching the newly polished floor. Suggest they accept they can't avoid wear and tear and put some rugs down!

Fantastic place, just beautiful but did miss high quality b'fast ingredients. Supermarket multigrain bread does not make the cut! Take your own food for breakfast to avoid disappointment.

perfect getaway from sea life

privacy, room facilities, garden surroundings
8.7
We had a wonderful moment in Glass on Glasshouse. The location is perfect for couples who want to get away from the beaches and escape in the hinterland surroundings. Facilities in the cottage are all in good conditions, especially the A/V. It also has a great view from the room. Maybe come here during strawberry season will be more fun.

Very pleasant stay. Beautiful bushland setting close to spectacular Glasshouse Mountains. A wonderful place to escape from the world and experience a tranquil and unique Australian bushland setting.
Hotel Feature Tip: Try the great spa, drink some champers and look out on the sunset! Be aware you will have to cook your own breakfast!

Relaxing getaway

Very nice hotel. Very quiet. Attentive staff

It was a very nice hotel to stay at. There were food and outdoor activity choices fairly close to the property. On a negative note, we were charged for a towel that we never received.
