Best 2 star hotel which can be 3 star

Convenient Location, Quiet, Clean
This hotel is not fancy 4 star hotel but best 2 star with all necessary clean facility. Room is big with balcony. Shower and bathroom is also clean and functioning well. Cleaning Staff and Receptionists are caring. TukTuk stand by in front of hotel is not pushy at all. (Actually they are nice.) Genocide Museum is near by. Waling distance to the Russian Market and Independence Tower. Some nice cafes are around. I would come back to this hotel.

Nothing special. Very decent

Cleanliness, Wifi connection, Staff friendliness
We stayed as a couple in a double room for 5 nights. I thought the hotel was very decent for Cambodian standards, everything was extremely clean, staff was accommodating and things were generally well taken care of. The hotel is more of a business hotel, really meant just for sleeping. I was disappointed they don't serve breakfast (which I hadn't noticed when booking) which makes them a bit pricey. The Wifi was surprisingly good and stable all throughout the hotel. It also reached high speeds during non-peak hours. The staff spoke little to no English which was difficult sometimes when asking for things. They forget to give us towels on one- and to gives us water on two separate occasions, but they were super friendly and very apologetic and accommodating when asked about it (they gave us extra water bottles for no extra charge). The location is good: slightly off centre, a but at a short walking distance of S-21 and the independence monument. If you have a scooter or are willing to do everything by tuk tuk, then you're fine. The directly adjacent streets feel slightly dodgy, but I think that's also because you're not in the centre, so they're not so lively. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for something quiet where you can work or crash after an active day. If you are looking to relax at the hotel itself, this isn't the place.

Value for Money Budget Hotel in Phnom Penh

Value for Money, Location, Friendly Staff
Booked into the Go-In Hotel for the first time. The hotel is located in a quite street behind the main street of St. 310. Overall stay was pleasant as the hotel provide basic necessities and it is clean and tidy. The hotel staff are very friendly. There is no restaurant in the hotel so need to get to the restaurants nearby for breakfast and meals.

business hotel

soaring fast wifi, superclean room, hot shower
We stayed three nights, coming from Siem Raep going to Saigon. It's more a hotel for business travelers, there was certainly no backpacker vibe. The room was very good with fast WiFi and a reliable hot shower. The only sight in the vicinity is the Tuol Sleng prison. The rest is further away, but there were always tuktuk drivers around. The was no restaurant, so no breakfast or any other meals. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless.

Booked and stayed for 1 night only. Checked in rather late. The room is really big, twin beds can sleep 2 persons on each so-called single bed. Many channels on TV, wifi was fast and AC was really cool. There was no kettle but a mini fridge was provided in the room. They provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo etc. Clean toilet and rather big as well. Clean towels and clean bedsheets. Located in a quiet area. The ONLY snag was, the sitting toilet bowl was shaky and when you flush, micro remnants of what's left in the lower part of the toilet bowl by someone who used the toilet bowl earlier would seep out from the base of the toilet bowl. You'd have to use the water jet to spray the dirty remnants away. One good point is that, we requested for a kettle and they immediately sent us a hot water boiler dispenser. Appreciated that. WE DIDNT TRY OUT ANY FOOD OR ANY RESTAURANTS IN THE HOTEL AS THERE WERE NONE. The hotel price is really value for money and I'd recommend the hotel to anyone as long they do not get the same room hotel with the faulty toilet bowl.

Clean, view, elevator but a bit away from central

Clean, view, quality
These are great rooms for the price. Clean with a balcony and view. Dimming lights, new furnishings and new building. In a Khmer area and a Tuk tuk ride to the waterfront. Not a normal foreigner hang out but a lot of value for the price. Close to many Khmer restaurants and 5 minutes from the center of downtown.

Very friendly staff, good room.

Room, Staff, Tuk Tuk on demand
I love the hotel. It is comfortable, staff are friendly and they cater for your needs. There are some problems however. I think the majority of people that stay here are Cambodian and most of the staff don't speak any English. The ground floor has a wonderful big room that is only being used as a storeroom. This would make a wonderful restaurant and bar with late night entertainment. The other problem I see is the staff hang around the foyer area of that large room watching TV. I know it can gat boring when it is not busy but hanging around publicly watching TV and eating and drinking in front of guests is not a good look. Me, I don't care but many guests will care. I worked for 30 years in hospitality and would never have allowed this to happen. Another problem is that the hotel advertises it is close to restaurants. They are if it isn't Sunday afternoon about lunch time. Then you might have to walk 2-4 kilometres to a restaurant as all the restaurants in the area close for Sunday siesta. Be warned, do not stay here is you don't want to get woken like a sleepy headed Mullah to morning prayers at six am every morning.
