Not a 4 star hotel

Location to the significant tourist sights of Istanbul.
The hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel but it is clearly not! You have to pay 5 TL to get a glass of juice at the buffet breakfast despite having paid for the buffet. Tip box at the door and on the juice table is a bit much, and no tissues and no iron in the rooms is a bit poor!

Horrible hotel, small rooms, bad breakfast

Location location location
Disappointing. No view from the window, small room, bad breakfast. ABSOLUTELY not recommended
Rizma W. Business travelers Maldives, February 1, 2014
Very small rooms with limited internet connection

Close to sightseeing areas and local transportation
I would not go back, some front office staff were very rude but others were OK. Rooms were too small but the breakfast was great.

Excellent hotel but rooms are small.

Style, professionalism, view of sophia and blue mosque
Excellent, that's all I have to say about it. I'll definitely stay here again, despite the too small rooms.

It was a great stay

Location (new sightseeing: Topkapi, Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque), good breakfast, helpful staff
It was pleasant. Istanbul is beautiful and there is a lot to see and do - so you will only stay sleep time in the hotel. Staff was friendly and know English and helped us where to go and what to see.

Will never stay in this hotel

I can only think of location

Typically Turkish decor and overdone.

The view was spectacular, the bed was comfortable and it was close to an area we like.
We were pleased with the room and terrace but the bathroom was the size of a closet. It didn't help that the staff gave us completely wrong directions on a rainy day.

Possibly the best location in Sultanahmet

Location, Breakfast on Rooftop and complimentary afternoon Coffee Break
The room i stayed in was very small, too small, cable has hundreds of channel but only few in English. But the hotel location is quite possibly the best in Sultanahmet and the view from the rooftop is amazing! Breakfast spread was ok but same everyday. All in all a nice hotel but at the price they offer their rooms need to be upgraded a whole lot.

Hotel strategically placed

Arrived in Istanbul on a weekends eve for 5 nights. First impressions of the hotel were good. Staff were very friendly and were shown up to our room within minutes. The room was rather small but cosy at the same time. Bathroom though was too small and was i was struggling at times!.(very small cubicle). The hotel was located very near (walking distance) to all the tourist spots like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque etc. They have a fantastic roof top restaurant that offered fabulous views. After day three things got a bit monotonous - standard breakfast with the same items and sometimes room make up was incomplete (No water placed, tissues refilled etc). Apart from this we enjoyed the stay here but will probably not return to stay in the same place. Special thanks to Nuri who helped us alot through constructive advice.

Not all that glitters is gold

Agoda customers not well regarded
Very clean hotel. Very small rooms. We booked 1 month in advance to get a good room with a view. We got a room on 3rd floor with view of a wall. We felt that as Agoda customers we were considered "cheap" after we refused a tour car for 150 Euros a day. Staff was polite but not overly forthcoming. Breakfast buffet was impressive to look at but half of it was things we only eat for lunch or dinner. Great view from the rooftop terrace. While it was OK we would not return to this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip: worst wifi connection possible
