it was good but not the best,
had refrigerator should have kettle also and serve some kind of breakfast in the morning wheather it is toast and coffee , remember you dont pay the price that is stated so you paying around 460- baht for that you should get something in the morning. or discount on the food even.

Decent all round
Except for the WiFi everything was good. Close to the river front and to lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Everything including some tourist attractions were close by. The price was good and we were upgraded for free as our room wasn't ready yet. We would go back to Golden Noura

Very nice staff, nice room, convenient location, worthy!
The staff are kind and helpful, and the period i visited Phnom Penh was Khmer New Year. They celebrated the new year with me and we danced, drank beer, ate local food and we had a good time The room is spacious and everything is nice It is near the royal palace and not far away from the night market It is totally worthy for money

Big surprise when I go to hotel and it is closed down
I have stayed this hotel before, so I booked again as it was ok previously and it was within my budget. Arrived at hotel to find it has closed down. I'm thinking wtf! I've paid and there is no hotel. Then suddenly some guys appear and take me to Channsoda hotel next door and advise me hotel has closed and now is moved here. Ok. Room much bigger and better than original hotel. But then I find issues. Wifi not work at all. Shower head is broken. Hotel advised of issues and I'm told everything will be fixed tomorrow. Settle in for the night only to be woken very early by workers making huge noise with construction work next door at original hotel. Not possible to sleep, not possible to stay in this room (222). I check out and advise hotel of my lack of sleep. They offer me another room on other side of hotel, which is smaller but acceptable. I find shower and toilet are leaking, but nothing too serious. They will fix shower today, but never did. They seemed too busy changing hotel name. Oh yes and when I returned to hotel last night the guy at reception was extremely rude. I came in and he just continued to play on his phone without acknowledging I was there. I say hello, he continues to play, I say sorry, it looks like you're busy, he looks up, plays a little more then eventually gets my key without a word spoken, this behaviour is totally unacceptable and if he was my employee then he would not have a job! Other staff were very pleasant at all times. The second room was ok, but was only first floor so has a lot of street noise from early morning. Would I stay here again? Yes but not unless I had a quiet room or the construction work was completed.

Not so accommodating
I was given a room on the 4th floor with long stairs , the door lock is shacky , the room is ok but furniture is old ,the hotel entrance is lock after 12pm and it took 5 min for some one to let me in .the reception wanted to charge additional $5 for checking out 1Pm which I refused to pay as he said I have sign on the checking in voucher , I told them I am not paying until the manager give in . Hotel is not full . Unpleasant experience

Friendly and helpful staff
Nothing to complain of except a shower that needed repairing and a less than powerful AC otherwise fine
