Serves the purpose, good parking
Room is big, but overall standard is so-so. Location convenient as close to Eastlink to access different parts of Melbourne. No lift after 10:30pm, better not check in late with loads of luggage. Carpet a bit worn out, curtain very dirty. Cleaners throw out things that they suppose not to.

The stay was fine until I received a phone call on Tuesday from the desk lady who was very rude and had said that her manager wanted to talk to me as my husband and I were accused of smoking inside the room and apparently left a cigarette burn on the couch. Spoke to who also was VERY RUDE and straight away accused us of smoking inside the room and burning the couch. My husband and I do not smoke - could of asked in a different tone and being more polite about it instead of jumping the gun and accusing us straight away. We will NEVER stay at this place again as its a real shame as my sister just lives down the road. Also wondering why they called on Tuesday considering we checked out on Sunday - did they not clean the room until Tuesday ? Disgusting !!

Front Desk Staff Need further training
Location,ease of carpark,opposite Wantirna Club
Staff were pleasant enough at check -in however when we went to our room (118)as soon as I opened the door it smelt of cigarette smoke so we headed back to reception.Manager?came out from back of reception and offered us another room so new keycards were given Manager then came with us back to original room to help with luggage and also to verify smoke smell we then headed up to next level room 214 where we couldn't open the door back to reception AGAIN and key cards rekeyed , I also asked they change the room number on our paperwork finally got into the room which we discovered was for handicapped travellers no curtain or screen on shower no lid on toilet on way out to dinner I mentioned this as when showering water was all over floor and as I was going to a function and had high heels on it was very dangerous we put our towels down on floor to dry up water,, they said they were full and couldn't move us at least it didn't smell of smoke.This was a 2 night stay and the following day whilst out at lunch I had a phone call from Golden Pebble stating we had left luggage in room which we had as were still staying there if the paperwork had be altered as I had asked they would have realised this.The staff were apologetic but it was a series of mishaps on their behalf that if attention to detail had been done it would have caused unnecessary misunderstanding also they should have advised us that they were moving us to disabled room,carpets in that room also need cleaning they were stained by the bed and one lightshade above bed was missing .

Great location
Great location, comfortable room, courteous, helpful staff
We stayed at the Golden Pebble Hotel while in the process of moving house. It is close to Knox City Shopping Centre which suited us as we were going there to dinner with friends. The staff were very helpful and polite. The room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
