Our stay was great the room is clean with fantastic toiletries that has great fragrance with items clearly stated and readable easily unlike other hotels of the same standard that has too light and slim small prints for each product. The check out staff was really great she is a young Chinese lady with pleasant smile and speech and efficient and ensuring we take all our belongings and if taxi had been arranged for airport it was on 5th January 11am. The only issue I had is with the online booking for the last three nights. I booked with Agoda but hotel computer system shows different company also it was $500 for the last three nights per my online booking with AGODA but in the end it was more than that when I paid at the hotel for that last three nights it was a surprise

Dissapointing stay at Golden Sands resort

our stay was not a pleasant one. we arrived at 3.30 pm to find that our room was not ready. We gave the hotel 4 months notice of our intended stay requesting high level rooms facing the sea, with king sized beds and no smoking.We were offered low level rooms with twin single beds and other customers smoking in adjoing rooms allowing the smoke to drift into our room from the balcony. Continual scrapping of chairs across the floors above and children running backwards and forwards until 3.00am in the morning made sleep almost impossibe. the rooms were not fresh and smelt of sweat. the safe did not work in one of the rooms. following complaints to the duty manager we were told that we would be shifted to a new room the next day on a higher level.This did not occur until 6.00pm which effectively wasted the second day of our stay. replacement rooms were clean and smelt much fresher. Manager offered complimentary meal at Ziggy's restaurant as compensation for our troubles. I hyave stayed at this hotel resort on several occasions and feel that it is getting tired and rundown. Staff are trying their best, but pre-booking of rooms is not understood, and they only give you what is available on the day of arrival, instead of ensuring your booking requests are met and the room is ready for you when you arrive. My rating is 3 out of 10

It was perfect family holidays ! 2nd times in this resort. My kids loved swimming pools, kids play zone and kids club. Breakfast was very nice too. Staffs are very friendly. 5 star resort. 5 star service.

Great location but rooms at lower floor no ocean v

Staff were professional. Location near activities. Comfortable stay.

Only issue we have is our view of the ocean is blocked by the many large trees fronting the beach. Should space them apart to afford the magnificent ocean views from the rooms.
