great relaxation

wonderful garden, great swimmingpool, good location
We had an excellent 5 days in the hotel. The old town is about 15 minutes walk. It was wonderful weather so the pool was a great place to relax and sunbathe! just doing nothing, read a book and take a swim!

golden tulip marrakech review

Location, walking distance from just about everywhere worth visiting.
Although the hotel is a nice place to stay with a lovely pool, and a great location walking distance from the medina etc, for us the staff were just about the worst I've experienced in the hospitality industry. My friend who i was travelling with lost/had his phone stolen in the hotel and no one seemed interested in the slightest in trying to resolve the situation. It took two days till we managed to find a member of staff who could be bothered to come to speak to us. Even when ordering food/drinks from the bar the staff again seem disinterested. While I can appreciate the language barrier being somewhat of a problem, to me this seemed much more than this.

Not bad

Quiet, nice garden, nice pool
This hotel is only 10 minutes away from the airport therefore it's a bit far from the attractions of the city. It's a good 35 minute walk from the Djemaa el Fna square. Still, it's in a nice green and quiet area called Hivernage. Considering I paid for a double room breakfast incl. I can't really complain. The pool area and gardens are very nice though the pool water is freezing. Room service menu and quality is extremely poor, breakfast is decent. The room was fairly nice and clean although the bed on wheels can be a bit of a drag.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Avoid the Palmeraie, complete waste of money and time on camel tour just to look at a hundred palms

Godt hotel, lidt slidt, men pænt og rent.

Dejligt poolarea, men poolen for kold
