The modern guestrooms boast what is considered the best view of the lake in the entire region, available in most of the rooms and common areas as well. There are rooms overlooking Lake Wakatipu and the breathtaking mountain range, while others overlook the elegantly designed garden and courtyard area. The Bisro 594 & Wine Bar makes an ideal resting area with a panoramic view of the lake. A wide variety of dining options are available nearby, including the Amisfield Winery Bistro where a massive wine selection awaits patrons. Be sure to check out the Onsen Hot Springs, an increasingly popular natural mineral bath spa just three kilometers away from the hotel. Ease of access to the city and airport, while still being secluded enough to be serene, make this location a top choice while staying in Queenstown for a relaxing vacation.

Nice hotel, great view

Lake view, 2 Queen size bed, Spacious
The hotel is a bit outside the city center, but the bus stop is not far from the hotel. The rooms are facing the lake and feels very quiet and peaceful in the morning. The room is very spacious with 2 queen size beds, but feels a bit older.

Pump shed

Location, location, location
My stay was horrible. The room they put us in was 101 which is ground floor an as we discovered right next to the pump shed which vibrates the room an sends a loud humming sound thru the room everytime it turned on which by 1030 pm was quite a lot! I rung room device an they new about the problem so moved us to the room above which is only moderately better. The fact they knew exactly what the problem was an yet they still book people into this room is the worse part. Avoid staying if you are in room 101 or 116

Clean room, amazing view from the room

Clean room, helpful staff, great location and view
I spent 3 nights at this hotel. The room is clean and quite spacious. The staff really friendly and helpful. On top of it, the view from the room is absolutely amazing. Make sure you get the lake-view room.

Good hotel - great view, great food & great staff

view, food & staff
Good hotel... cons - the room that we had was in dull color and needs a bit of decor to make more lively, no complimentary bottled water, and complimentary wifi is limited. Pros - great view of the river & Remarkable mountain, great food, friendly staff & great customer service, free shuttle service to/from town, just few minutes away from town and airport, lots of parking, and easily accessible by public transport.

Short Stay

Friendly staff, comfort of the room, courtesy bus to town
We stayed for one night at the start and then again at the end of our New Zealand ski trip. The hotel room was comfortable and well presented. The layout of the property can make it difficult moving large bags from the car to the rooms especially if you are on the first floor. I'm glad it wasn't raining or snowing when we were there. The buffet breakfast was over priced for what they delivered. The scrambled eggs tasted powered, the tomatoes were straight out of a tin. Apart from that the staff were great.
