Very spacious and worth the price
I would definitely recommend this hotel for the budget traveler. It's very affordable yet doesn't compromise the space and facilities. My friends and I (a group of 4) booked this hotel for 3 nights for only 3.5K. That's less than 900 pesos each for 3 nights! The other 2 weren't able to come with us to CDO at the last minute which was quite a shame really since the room is large enough already even for 4 people. There were 2 large beds, a HUGE bathroom (really huge), a refrigerator, a cable TV, split-type aircon (if I remember correctly), a small dining table good for 4-6 people, a sofa bed near the window, cooking area, plates and utensils, sink. It's quite packed with features even with the small price tag. The location is good enough. It's tucked away from the busy streets but still near enough to malls and plazas. One con I could think of is that they don't provide a hairdryer and the basic toiletries like in hotels. But that's alright because it's not meant to be a hotel. Oh, and you can rent the room for an entire month for only 12K pesos.

impressed, very cheap, close to heart of downtown
i found this place to be comfortable, located in downtown area,my room had the cleanest toilet i have seen in all my trips to cagayan de oro, the shower area was amazing, large room, sliding glass doors leading to small balcony.. new 2 ring cooker and overhead extractor fan, big double fridge, modern flat screen tv.. i stayed 2 days and i will be going back there next time, some construction work going on but only in normal working hours, they are working well to improve the hotel even more, large parking area inside the hotel, small snack shop selling the basics.. staff are pleasant and helpful... no complaints at all.. enjoyed my stay

Room is ok
It's good that you can cook in the room we took. The location is around 15 minute drive to ket kai.
Water supply is poor. Can't barely use the shower. Though the price is ok since our plans were mostly outdoor. generally, it is ok since you'll just leave you things inside during the day and sleep in it at night. Self prepared breakfast is a plus

Trapped
Helpful staff, clean rooms, secure doors
The Hotel was going through a remodel that had us feeling trapped in our room. There was workers welding and pounding on steel at 12am in the morning. Also we had to walk over construction material just to get out of our room.

Nice location & building but poor aircon exhaust.
cheap. you can cook your own food.
I would have rated this hotel much higher were it not because of its poor architectural design as far air conditioning exhaust system is concern. It's making the room noisy, hot and unsecured since all rooms share the same exhaust making it possible for others to access your room through it.

A disaster
1) I am still alive 2) I wasn't robbed 3) I won't be going back
There was no ceiling in the kitchen, just a gap to the tin roof several feet above so no security. The toilet stank and brown gunge came out of all the taps - apparently the water is not on the mains but from a private well. The on site shop is a small fridge and a couple of shelves behind their excuse of a front desk. If you must stay here please ensure your travel insurance is in order - you are likely to be giving them a call from hospital

The worst hotel I have ever seen
It's not possible to like this ugly hotel
I was really surprised when I came to the hotel. It was just like a workshop with a small kiosk like reception in the parking area. From here I had to carry my luggage myself through many stairs to my ugly room. It is not a hotel but a youth hostel with worst standard. In the room there were pans and cattle to make your food in a dirty outside kitchen. There was no soap or towels. The aircondition had no termostat so that I had to get up many times in the night to swirtch it off and on as it became too cold or hot in the room. It is one of the most ugly and unpractical hotel I had ever seen. I will not stay next time despite of its cheap price. And don't get cheated with the photos. In reality it is ugle, ugly, ugly.

Worked perfectly for our needs.
Aircon, hot shower, kitchen, refrigerator -- Major pluses for me
The staff worked hard to meet our needs. The room wasn't ready the first day so they put us into two singles. Then we shifted to the regular room. The staff all around were sooooo pleasant. The location was sooooo convenient. Taxis, motorellas, tricyken abound. The market is soooo close - short ride on a tricyked or rella. Divisoria (the entertainment zone) was also soooo close. NOTE: If you are expecting a clean, spick-n-span environment then don't look at this place. This is a residence, not a hotel -- so star ratings mean little. People stay at this place for long-term stays.
