unpleasant stay
The room were dirty, floors, bed, everything. Rooms are divided by thin plywoods, so there no privacy. Even the corridor stinks. I dont recommend this hotel. Try other hotel instead.

Good for overnight stay, close to US embassy.

Location, less expensive, convenience
Fair enough, cheaper than most hotels in the area.

Affordable with Great Location

Located near robinson's ermita mall, several banks;very accessible to transportation; reasonably affordable
Their family room has a king size bed and a single bed which is ideal for a family with young kids. Rooms are simple but clean. Staff are courteous. Price is reasonably affordable. A popular native souvenir shop "Tesoro's" is located downstairs. Breakfast is controlled buffet but could be better. Reasonably priced if you are traveling on a budget.

Room Like a Prison Cell

Location, friendly staff, television.
Depressing. The tiny room was dirty and worn-out.

Never Again unless budget traveller..

budget accommodation.. location.. friendly staff
Very disappointed.. booked suite expecting a suite (ironically) got bare bones room with 2 beds.. hotel needs reclassifying or to learn what a suite is (usually bedroom and receprion room) breakfast made me feel as though it was rationed.. not self sevice.. very basic breakfast.. orange juice and coffee included but have to pay extra if you want pineapple juice!! Staff were friendly enough.. previous comments point to elevator issues. Happy to advise elevator is installed and working now.. overall if u are on a tight budget go for this place otherwise I wouldnt bother.. vastly overpriced and overrated.. checked out day early and walked 3 blocks up the road to hotel with beautiful suite (a real suite) for exactly the same price as I paid .Never again..

9 Day Visa Interview Trip

Location, Location, Location
Positives: **Credit It For Feeling SAFE**, Clean but small two bed room, Lots of hot water, located so near to the US Embassy and St Luke's Medical Extension center it is very hard to justify a cab ride to either place. The Mall is pretty close too. Cons: Very Weak WiFi, Old AC, Very Small TV. NO KOSHER options at Breakfast,(until the 9th day of a nine day stay) occasionally they threw in some pancakes, NO working elevator and breakfast is served on 7th floor. If you have a lot of down time between your medical exam and the interview these things become annoying. (Oh they do allow big shoulder bags in the US Embassy and you have all the photo you need in your sealed St Luke's envelope so don't listen to hawkers in the lines) Suggest: Without a pool, Breakfast is the big difference maker and with just a little effort on the breakfast options and elevator maintenance the Gran Prix would be a solid business 3 star and with a decent size TV & better AC it could push close to a 3.5 Star Manila business room.
