This beautiful home is so quaint and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and ever detail was taken care of during our visit. We loved it.

great country house hotel near margaret river-----
personal attention & the ambience
getting a taxi in Margaret river is a nightmare due to the erratic behaviour of the only 2 taxi companies in town ----it is possible / likely you will have to walk as they have to be the most disorganised uncaring taxi companies in the world

Lovely character hotel in Margaret River
The house & the room, the breakfast and the hotel gardens
We had a lovely stay at the Grand Mercure. A pleasant surprise was that breakfast was included and the continental breakfast spread was very healthy, interesting and varied. One then also chose a hot breakfast to order. The rooms were very nicely appointed and comfortable (only suggestion to provide hooks for clothes in the bathroom which I understand is WIP for the hotel). The staff were very kind when we booked earlier in the year and made sure to check with us to allocate rooms suitable for my father who uses a mobility scooter. We had a fab stay.

Beautiful Grounds, but a little pricey
Gardens, Manor building & friendly receptionist
It was good, although I found the price a little extravagant for the accommodation. I agree with the 4-star rating but feel the price was more like something you would pay for 5-star accommodation. Althought it was a nice touch leaving sweets on the bed side table & sending departing guests with scones! The Manor entrance is a little musky smelling being an old building.
