A decent hotel
Good service, Good location, Nice room view
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Room is a bit smaller than expected (although we know most Tokyo hotels have small rooms). Good service - Room is clean. Front desk tries to explain as much as possible although English is not their best language. Newspaper provided. Housekeeping helps to boil the water everyday so we could enjoy a nice cup of tea immediately upon our return. Fast to respond when our room aircon had a minor issue. Nice big garden (shared with the sister hotels). Not a far walk to Shinagawa station, but as it is on a hill, it might not be so convenient for the elderly.

Excellent staff and large room
Room size. Staff. Location
An extremely good hotel very near Shinagawa Station with a free shuttle bus service. Only flaw is having to queue for breakfast every morning. The grounds are sensational and the staff are of the highest quality.

Beautiful garden
The Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa has a beautiful garden especially when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom. The location was also great - for travelling within Tokyo and to other cities.
My family found it very comfortable and the location was great. The airport limousine buses from both Narita and Haneda airport stops directly at the hotel. Shinagawa station is also on the JR Yamanote line and it was easy to get around the key sightseeing spots in Tokyo. I will definitely stay here again!
