Grand Hotel with Everything Grand

The Breakafast is amazing and Its just next to Galaxy Macau
The hotel is just amazing and deserves its 5 star category. It has a casino and the best part is the complementary morning breakfast, it was just too big and too much, flooded with different types of food. The Swimming pool at the ground level is amazing and there is beautiful piano at the reception.

Budget Hotel

Breakfast is good with variety
the room was not bad and the breakfast was nice. the good thing about this hotel is you can use the shuttle bus of galaxy hotel (which depart every 15 mins) to every place in macau by acorss the road. however, this hotel is not suit for old people or children. nothing is fun in this hotel and shuttle bus is very difficult to find at ferry terminal.
Restaurant Tip: The Breakfast is good with variety

Spacious hotel but inconvenient location

Room is clean and tidy.
rate is reasonable with 2 buffet breakfast and 2 afternoon tea sets. room is spacious. clean and tidy with full amenities. coffee in coffee shop taste horrible. fruits are fresh.service is attentive. however, no taxi. even you wait for 30 minute, no signs of taxi. the only way to get a taxi is to wait for someone to come back to the hotel. the concierge is not helpful.
Travel tip: It is very hard to get a taxi. Even you ask for Concierge to help to hire a taxi. No one bother to help. The only way to get out of the hotel is to ride on the Hotel Shuttle Bus to Ferry first.

Big clean rooms

It's glamorous
On the exterior, Grand Waldo looks older than the Galaxy and the other more famous counterparts, but it's interior is very modern looking and for the price that we paid, it is value for money.
Hotel Feature Tip: It's far from the main toursit trail and pretty inaccessible. We went around by taxi.

Ok location but big room

Room is big, hotel is quite and nice.
Big hotel room and look grand. Hotel location is Far away from city but is within walking distance to others famous hotel. Good point is because of the location, the hotel is very quite and not messy and crowded. Transportation is not an issue as the hotel has shuttle bus to bring you the ferry station. A good choice for people who do not want to a crowded hotel.

Small casino but it's right across Galaxy.

Buffet breakfast, included in the room rate, was very good.
room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. shuttle service to and from the ferry terminal was convenient. taxi service was readily available.
Travel tip: no need to change to macao patacas (mop) as hk dollar is widely accepted at 1:1 ratio.

very good hotel, value for money

clean hotel, nice staff
this is the hotel we mostly stay in when we are in macau. we've stayed here for at least 4 times for the past two years. we like this hotel since the price is reasonable and hotel facilities are clean and new, it is also near venetian hotel. room wise, this is not the best and biggest in macau, but considering the price, this is the most value-for-money for us to stay in.

Spacious Room
hard to locate. breakfast is good. hotel exteriors was sleazy and old. hotel rooms on the other hand was good as well. toilet's lightings was not fanstastic and the hygiene of the shower area was average. staff was helpful and friendly. complimentary wifi is available in the hotel lobby as well. it would be better if wifi can be available in the room as well.

The first recorded game of conkers using the nut o
The first recorded game of conkers using the nut of the tree was in 1848. Before then, it was played using cobnuts and snail shells or ‘conches’ — the origin of the name. But once Victorian children learnt how to drill holes through them and string them up, conkers — or ’obblyconkers, cheesers or cheggies — became the most popular autumn pastime in playgrounds. According to the Forestry Commission, there are around two million horse chestnuts in Britain today — with three-quarters found in towns and cities. Most of the rest are in landscaped parklands.
