Location Location
The place is worth the money if you really just need the place to sleep. I only wish the floors had their own wifi.

Bad facility for an awesome workforce.
The building which the worst I've ever been for the past 6 years. Roaches, clogged drainage systems, lamps without lights and covers unscrewed and dangling, no towels during check in, no blankets. It's pretty much the hotel age and or not being properly maintained. But the desk staff are there to deal and try their best to sort my issues out their own way. Safety box key given to me can even open 3 other boxes as I forgot my my number... Even showed it to the desk staff, luckily I opened empty ones...I won't ever go back in this hotel but with the way the staffing handle my issues? I'd still come back, at least for a night..

Don't Stay Unless You Have No Choice
Many people bash 'Great'' Eastern. I would not go that far. My room was acceptable - although it may be a renovated room. The TV is old fashioned and secured to the ceiling as though you would steal it. For 2 of my 3 nights there was no TV connection. They refused to give me any kind of discount for that. But .. here comes the major fault ... - no wi fi in rooms! Only in hot lobby. This posed a major difficulty for me. Never again. And in Manila beware of the 25% tax over and above the stated room rate.
