Both classic and contemporary in design, the 108-room hotel continues the fine service it established since first opening in 1934. Great Eastern Hotel Quezon City is the latest landmark in Quezon City, located on Makati Avenue. The hotel originally opened in 1934 and was a popular landmark during its time. Unfortunately, it was destroyed during the war until the same operators brought the establishment back to life in 1995. The 3-star hotel is within walking distance to many government offices, shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment venues, and bars. It is also walking distance to the Narda Handicrafts Showroom. Budget Hotel

Location
5.7
A budget hotel that was reasonable for the price. Room smelt of mould and had a number of cockroaches. Staff were friendly enough but obviously restricted to using their initiative. Wanted to charge an extra 500Pp to check in at midday even though l had come from airport after flying and having very little sleep. You get what you pay for. But really only a 2 - 2.5 star hotel

One of the worst hotel!

Advise travellers from staying at this cockroaches infested hotel at all cost! Very poor air conditioning ! If you really want to stay at this hotel, prepared to sleep with those pests!

Great Eastern is declining

Location, Convenient, Transportation. Located on Quezon Ave in Quezon City (pronounced K-zone) it is on one of the main thoroughfares in a vastly overcrowded city. Taxis, jeepneys, locals, and buses.
4.3
Have stayed there 6 times (last 3ya) and quality is falling. Cockroaches, damp dark unclean room, poor housekeeping is what we encountered. Staff is still friendly and polite. Be picky and pay more for a room with windows. We booked looking for a lower price as a jumping off place b4 meeting up with wife's relatives. It is an old historic hotel that is getting dated.

not so clean sml cockroaches roaming around. Aircon is not working well. No sucket beside the bed. No light at d cieling. ( lampshade only) Toilet is old model structure. the only best thing in great eastern is the location. And the price in agoda offers the best. But In fairness to GEH. I will still give them a 3 stars. For accomodating us during our stay.
