Good location, small room
Good location but room too small for the cost paid, room a little dusty to my point of view. Also to my surprise, there is no free wifi access at all and the plans for paid wifi goes by the number of hours for same amount of data (e.g. 2 hrs for 1gb and 24 hrs for 1gb) instead of usual plans in other hotels whereby we just need to purchase for the amount of data for our stay. Lastly, there is totally no connection for Optus at all so we are literally left wifi-less for the whole stay if we had not purchased any data. Probably the hotel could do better to offer free wifi access to their guests as I recalled having it when staying here too 4 years ago.

horrible experience
after arriving late by train due to industrial action they told me that I could not check in because I didn't have photo ID with me. I did not have my license because I wasn't driving and I like many Australian citizens don't carry my passport on me when traveling in Australia. the very rude receptionist told me that I would need to get a statutory declaration signed at a police station -it was 8.00pm and I was alone and she thought that was a perfectly reasonable request of me. I had the agoda voucher with me but she wouldn't accept that after much discussion she finally went out the back to speak with the manager who told her to tell me that this time they would allow it but not next time like I was a naughty child. there will never be a next time. when did hotels start seeing the guest as an inconvenience and a nuisance instead of their purpose. I was very angry and upset.
