nothing special.

The description of the amenities that the rooms offered was less than 5% true. They have a bed, loo, shower and a shelf. They don't have a tv, hair dryer, fridge, drawers, safe, drinking water or even towels (until the 2nd day) as advertised. Also, the photos were photoshopped like crazy with excellent lighting and bloom effect cos it looks nothing like the actual rooms. The so-called 'city view' is covered by other shop buildings and dwellings. Location is pretty much smack bang in the middle of Khao San. So location-wise it's good... But wow... SO LOUD! Until about 3-4am, you're gonna need ear buds or else you won't be able to fall asleep. English communication-wise, Apart from the manager, the staff don't speak much English and so it's quite difficult to communicate with them. Also, they don't seem to give a crap whether or not you have any issues (big or small) and instead want you to speak the next day, lol. It was handy that they had a self-laundry service downstairs by the pool tables. But the dryer eats up the first coin so watch out for that since the staff aren't will to help at all.

Middle of the action!

Location, staff, cleanliness
They helped us book awesome excursions downstairs with American staff members who answered all of our questions and didn't try to push the most expensive trip, just the best one.

Dirty, worn down bed & space. Loud from 7am-3am.

The trees, plants & view of people on the street. Staff is trying to meet needs of clients.
It was ok but bad enough to leave asap. Dirty & worn room, in the shared bathroom shower floor flooded. Room is as if next to a loud night club. Unfortunatly wheather caused internet problems, but it was included and worked at times in the room.

Not bad but you can find better places

The location is prime. Right next to Khosan Road. The bathrooms were clean with flushable toilets and toilet paper. The showers were hot.
Our stay at Green Hostel was decent. We had a private room with twin beds. The AC worked, but the room is small and crapped and there is a dampness and stickiness to the whole room. Bathrooms were small but had flushable toilets with toilet paper, and showers were hot (although the water pressure was NOT consistent) For the price we paid, this was a decent place to stay at, but you can get more spacious and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms right in hotels right on Khosan Road. ( I would highly recommend Khoasan Palace Inn instead).
