So so

Breakfast included and they are okay
Room rate should be slightly cheaper since there are some unsatisfactory things,I must say this resort should have more improvement to go. Firstly, the swimming pool is the dirtiest swimming pool i ever seen, it's a waste as the view is nice, I don't expect very very clean water but at least should be clear. What I have seen is too dirty till I can't even see clearly when I was in the water, the water is dirty and dusty, is like blue plus dark gray color. Their public area, including the basin outside should be clean! That's too dirty! We stayed in a casuarina junior room and it's quite a big difference between the real one and the photo, the lamp, the fan, the air conditioner are dusty. Bathroom lock is spoiled. Hopefully there will be further improvement, at least the basic of cleanliness should be there. Breakfast is quite okay and valuable, outdoor environment simply like a small resort though full of trees. Anyway, is still acceptable.

A forgettable hotel

Green Village Langkawi Resort
I regret staying at this hotel. The place looks so run down. Service was bad -- I complained about the shower knob which was not functioning properly. A lady came to fix it but failed. She then said she would ask a repairman to do the job. When we came back to the room from dinner (around 11pm), the shower knob had not been fixed yet. I asked the staff on duty to fix it. He came to the room without any tools. He just tried to twist the knob multiple times. I told him he should just move us to another room as we wanted to take a bath and sleep as it was then almost close to midnight. He did not say anything but left the room and came back with some tools. He went back to his knob twisting business. After a few minutes, he called someone on his phone and after his phone conversation he then told me that I should not touch the knob but should just push one of the buttons on the heater panel to activate the shower. Duh! They should have posted a Guide/Instruction on the wall for this! Breakfast -- They opened the dining hall late. Cutleries were not available. The plates looked dirty. The buffet spread was so-so.

Never again!

the pool, which was fairly clean.
This Hotel which I understand is only 10 years old is dire need of a refit. Like many Malaysian hotels is just does NOT understand how to deal with foreign tourists. We arrived and were shown to a room that was not what was booked. I had requested an extra bed for my daughter at the time of booking and when shown our room (without the extra bed) it was already a closet, if they had put a bed in there would not have been room to walk in the room. After insisting we were moved to a chalet at the back of the property. This at least had some space and an extra bed. All beds and furniture was NAILED to the floor! even the crappy little table on the porch. Only 2 outside chairs could be moved. Other than the beds there was no other furniture in the room. No sitting table or chairs. Which meant that if you wanted to sit in the room you had to take a chair from outside. The doors of the chalet were hinged in such a way that it was impossible to be inside or on the porch without locking the door. This was to be a local style room but was built with cracks all over the walls and floor large enough to let mosquitoes in. which meant that we all got bitten nightly. There were two other doors to this room but only had a sliding wooden lock to hold them, not much security here. Breakfast was dismal, the waitress was very nice and I feel sorry for her. Eggs and toast was all that was served that was etable. The front desk staff were basically NO help, as this was a holiday weekend and taxis were hard to come by, all they would say was you need to walk to the stand down the street. This hotel is about a 20 min walk to the main attractions. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you are Malay and do not know better.

Dont be Fooled by the Picture.

its Location Near Chenang Beach
My Stay in this Hotel is not as Pleasant as i have Imagine. The Nature of the Hotel is Good with lots of Greenery and nature. However which such Greenery and no Maintenance they is a lots of Insect especially Mosquitoes roam the whole resorts. They provide the Chairs for you to Chill out in front of your rooms. However, The Chill Out area is Infested in Mosquitoes from Morning till Night, i had to buy a Repellent to fend off these mosquitoes. I will not stay at this Resort anytime soon, unless they improve their Cleanliness.

Bad Experience...

Swimming Pool, Staff, Breakfast
Stay at Green Village was such a mix plate where on one end i was horrified and extremely disappointed with the quality of room and miscellanous services i was overjoyed my cooperation from staff. Location was good but thats not all you need to stay at a place...I dont think if i go to langkawi again i would stay here but Pentai Tengah is a nice place to look for another hotel...

Just a budget stay

location, spacious compound, peaceful
We arrived in the hotel and was a bit disappointed as the pictures we saw in agoda were really different front the real ones. The real ones were pretty old i would say with slight smell. We even choose to pay extra for a better room but was quite a disappointment as the bigger room was quite run down. The pool is just a small sized pool for relaxation or just to soak in the water (not suitable for swimming). The water level is pretty shallow too which is friendly for kids. There is a small garden with flowers (quite relaxing and peaceful ambience). Breakfast is really plain and simple. Choices are very limited, same goes to the taste. Recommend this place for people with budget.
