Its 28 nonsmoking rooms are elegantly furnished in the Imperial style to match its noble past and are well fitted with every convenience for the discriminating traveler. Rooms are themed with Empire furniture, damask fabric, warm colors in the linens in the room and bathrooms, and include internet connection, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, mini bar, and independently controlled air conditioning in every room. The private bathrooms come with shower, hairdryer and a complementary beauty kit. A lovely flowered roof garden, where in the summer months guests take breakfast and relax over cocktails, overlooks the majestic Vittoriano and Rome's skyscape, providing a rare feeling of freedom. Elegante!

Great location

Location, location, location
The room was small but had everything I needed (except fridge) but I was only there for two days. Great location , so central to walk to everything. Air con was questionable so if you're leaving your window open I would advise ear plugs. An amazing roof top garden you could sit an admire the view and gives you the extra room you don't have in your room. Great bars (especially NY opposite Ducati bar) and restaurants a short walk away.

Outdated and mouldy

Location, allowed early check-in,
The room was small and smelly with very low ceiling beams. The carpet seemed to have a wet dog smell and there was a serious problem with mould around the only window. While the bathroom was clean, it was tiny and my husband was unable to close the shower door while he showered it was so minuscule. The bed was clean and comfortable. The decor in the room was dated and dusty. The breakfast was decent - standard hotel fare. The wifi only worked near the elevator on our floor and we spent a lot of time in the hall way outside the elevators trying to use this facility. When we did manage, the internet speed was good.

Great hotel for sightseeing!

Loved the breakfast!
We spent four nights at Hosianum Palace in February 2013. The location is great for walking to Piazza Venezia (2 minutes), Colosseum (10 minutes), Pantheon (10 minutes), Piazza Navona (15 minutes). We also walked to Saint Peter's church but that probably took 30 minutes. We felt safe walking in the area during the evenings. There are not that many restaurants close to the hotel so we walked to Travestere and had dinner there. You can also take the tram from Torre Argentina to Travestere. Every morning we started with having a great breakfast at the basement. There were everything we could have asked for - scrambled eggs and bacon, ham and salami, fruits, bread and bakery, yoghurt, granolas and musli, different juices and tea and coffee. The rooms are small, but who spends time in the hotel room when in Rome? However, the pillows were bad and my daughters who shared the King size bed had to share one blanket that they woke up in the middle of the night fighting over. The personal in the reception are helpful and gave us maps and told us were to go and how to take the buses and the trams. They all speak English. For what we paid, I find this to be a great value for the money and within walking distance of pretty much all major tourist attractions!

Hosianum Palace

Great Location of all sights in Rome.
Would stay again, but not on 4th floor. Beds a little hard, but I was so tired after sight seeing I didn't care.
