A mixed experience

The location of this hotel is very good. It is on a good bus route with services up to The Strand every few minutes. The staff are professional and the hotel is spotlessly clean.
We had a mixed experience. The hotel is bright and modern with a nice lobby. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range on offer in a bright airy dining room. The location is very convenient for Waterloo and Covent Garden. Our stay was marred by three things: zero sound proofing between the rooms (you can hear conversations without trying); for the amount being charged and the relatively young age of the hotel the room was not wearing well (chips on the furniture, scuff marks on the walls, etc); lastly the aircon system is very weak so the room was too hot despite leaving it on the max setting all afternoon and overnight. Would we stay again? Probably not. Once you go over the £200 mark the standard and comfort have to be higher.

Absolutely Non Responsive Staff and Faulty Process

Wifi was working.
Got a room on 11 floor and for 4 nights outside our room was a garbage bag. Second might ACTUALLY stopped working and no one cared to do anything. You can keep calling reception but they will either not pick up (70% of times ) and remaining they will say they will get back and nothing will happen. There is zero room service (don't even expect them to send plates and glasses to your room or do anything at all) - third day electricity went off in room and we had to call 10 times to be heard and them to send some engineer and fix it and then it kept going out again and again and staff does not pick phone at reception. Rooms are clean but really small - flies get into room moment you open windows. Location: about 10 min walk from Waterloo station - Waterloo is on other side of the river to all other areas of central london so you will need to use a taxi if you stay out late. There are no pubs and restaurant la outside the hotel - it is on corner of a quiet street with nothing around - so depends on what you like. Wifi was good.

Satisfied Customers

Location, comfort, helpful staff
We were at the hotel at about 12o/c and asked if we could leave our luggage at the hotel before the due booking-in time of 2pm. The man at the reception checked and said a room was available which we could have straight away. We were very pleased.
