Great ryokan to enjoy hakone
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night night trip to hakone. The hotel is located at about a 40 mins bus ride from Odawara station and is decently situated near the major hakone attractions. We got the twin room which was very nice and spacious. There are 3 private onsen that any guests can access with no reservation. Would recommend this hakone manatei to anyone looking for a nice ryokan in the area!

New Hotel Ever
I can hardly believe there's such a great hotel in the world. It's so relaxing and exhilarating to stay here. Staffs are so nice that you almost feel at home. The traditional Japanese Style dinner and breakfast is delicate and delicious. The big wooden window in my room is my favorite and the mountain view outside is gorgeous. Taking bath here is also joyful. The hotel provide all kind of beauty products. I really enjoy the situation that you don't need to worry about anything. BTW, the bathrobe is so cute. I really appreciate all staffs in Manatei. Thank you all for bringing me such a great experience. I feel at home with you. Hope I can come back here again.

Friendly Staff, Convenient and Good Facilities
The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very accessible by bus from the terminal. The room was great with a nice private onsen. The family onsen at the hotel was also great.

Great short stay
Had a good evening. Staff were friendly and helpful. We called at the station when we arrived and they were happy to send someone round to pick us up with our luggage. The hot spring private rooms are spacious and great to use. Food was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay.

great stay!
pretty easy to get to from Shinjuku station! we took about 2.5hrs - 3hrs without being too confused! however, make sure you do your research and get enough information before heading down :) before and when you reach Kowakidani Station, you can give the hotel a ring and they will prepare a van to pick you up! awesome service. we booked a very spacious Suite room with the private hot bath which could fit the two of us. our stay was so comfy! it was amazing to wake up to a pretty view of the hills as well. dinner and breakfast included was decent too. only thing i didnt like was that we booked dinner at 7:30pm, however it felt to me like they were rushing the dinner courses to us to finish quickly. apart from that, every thing else was great!

In Room Onsen A Plus
The in-room onsen with spring water was the highlight of the room. No need to brave the public baths with strangers. Can have a dip anytime. But room (I had a suite) looked rather tired, esp the carpet & the sofa set. Did not like the idea that we had to wear slippers/shoes in the room, the very slippers we were given to wear out of the room. Toilet sink area was dark - we had to bring the standing light in the living room into the toilet to supplement. Wi-Fi not strong. Yakuta was rather manly, not the kimono type found in some other ryokans. Restaurant was bright and cheery though a trifle warm because of the warm lighting. But overall a good stay, just for the onsen. Improvements in areas mentioned would make this a great stay!
