Convenient Location
Hotel is conveniently located next to dock where you can take a cruise around the lake. Staff is nice and helpful. The hotel is clean but can do with some upgrading.

Fine for 1 night
The common areas of the hotel are nice but my room could really use a refresh. The shower area just felt dirty and black stuff lined the floor along the shower and windows. Furniture was old and bed was, eh. It was ok for one night but I'd like to stay 'in town' next time. This one is a 15 minute walk outside of the main street but it's quiet.

A+++ for photoshopping skills!
So glad we only stayed one night. This motel, which was built in 1923, unfortunately still feels like it's stuck in the 20's deeming it overpriced and very dated. Even the non-smoking optioned rooms smelled of tobacco, and the surrounding shops were never opened in the two days we were there. The buffet breakfast was ok but not the extravagant looking feast featured online.

Nice view
Great view of the lake and mount Fuji (on clear days). Hotel is clean and rooms are spacious. Recommend to rent a car if you're gonna explore the area

Amazing view from room!
We were extremely lucky to be upgraded to the Jr Suite. We had the perfect view of Lake Ashi with Mt. Fuji peaking out in the background. It was amazing! The room was very spacious and we had a very comfortable stay! Thanks for the hospitality!
