Excellent hotel :-)

Location, warmth, charm

I loved my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, being on a quiet street but just a minute's walk to the centre of Headingley. The hotel itself is clean and the decor is tasteful. There was always hot water and the heating was on in the room - I even opened the window a bit as it got a bit too hot. Staff very courteous, even when I wanted to stay in my room til lunchtime! I would certainly stay here again.

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Leeds with parking space and great dining around. Hotel does not have an elevator but the architecture is very nice - old house refurbished but keeping traditional tones/feel of the 1945era.

Great place with a great location

Just off the main drag, so no busy traffic noise but close to main hub of restaurants, bars and shops with a nice village feel - easy access to city centre.

Fantastic stay, very comfortable and so easy to jump on a bus into town and nice area to explore if you wanted to stay more local after a busy day - highly recommended! We preferred to go local for breakfast and meals so didn't try the food so have left a fair average rate.

we have stayed here on numerous occasions as well located for the University. Love the hotel although internet only works in lobby and bar area , needs updating. This stay spoilt by poor receptionist more interested in private phone calls rather than customer service , would never achieve asian service standards But an awesome honest Barman Am sure have mentioned before, no lift so select your floor carefully if travelling with heavy luggage which we were on both occasions this summer Suggest replace Laura the receptionist, very poor frankly

stayed 6 nights and enjoyed good hospitality. warm welcoming nicely decorated room. efficient bathroom with good shower. ample cupboard space for clothes.tea, coffee and biscuits replaced daily. staff all friendly efficient and discreet. no lift and not one to travel light meant hauling heavy suitcase up and down stairs was a challenge. good location within walking distance of shops and buses into city centre. ample parking.good ambience.
Hotel Feature Tip: Popular restaurant in hotel.

Lovely hotel

Good value for money

Really enjoyed our stay - the bed was comfortable with lovely bed linen - the room was nicely decorated, the bathroom modern and the surroundings quiet. Room slightly on the small side and shower could have been more powerful but for what we paid I have no complaints. We took a taxi to town for £3.70, there are plenty of buses or about a 20 minute walk. It is in Headingly and we were visiting the University so it was perfect We did not take breakfast or dinner so cannot comment on the food
Hotel Feature Tip: We asked for a room on the second floor
