Frequent visitor to Hanoi. Best valua for money I have stayed. Had executive room with balcony, it was very good.. Good location, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast well above average for Vietnam. Have booked there again for my next visit in a few months time.

Satisfied Stay! But still could be improve.
The location is ideal to walk around the old-town district, with lots of yummy local food stores just around the corners. Staffs at register counter are very kind and friendly. We were assisted to book a one day tour to Hoa Lu & Tam Coc, and it was FANTASTIC! with reasonable price too. The buffet breakfast was pretty good ... simple varieties of Western & Vietnamese food. Room setting are clean & tidy. But just happened to us that the hot water pot was not clean at (seems like it has been use for ages), we requested to have it changed when we left the hotel for the day tour, but noticed the housekeeper didnt bother to do so when we were back to the room. And we have to called up the reception to request for new amenities like shampoo, shower gel & toilet paper. I think these are some of the small matters that the hotel could really look up and improve on. Other than that the hotel is really an excellent place to stay. We would definitely book for another stay when visiting Hanoi in the near future.

Great place, great staff, great breakfast
The staff was caring. I read that some people had bad experiences, but I had good experiences. One bell person worried when my son crossed the crazy street by himself and jumped out to help him when a car came. He was very concerned for our safety. I thought the staff tried hard to accommodate me when there were issues. I came three times totaling six days between trip tours. They were really great.

Excellent staff, clean, delicious breakfast
We stayed here a total of five nights with two tours in between. I did not give any tips until last day, but got great service the entire time. We booked family room perfect for myself and two tweens. The staff was always considerate of me. When I returned from one of our tours, the family room I was booked in had smoke, and I have severe asthma so I requested another room. They did not have any, but the staff looked hard and booked me into a nearby higher rated four star sister hotel and transferred me. Also, once when I was across the street and the children were crossing Bat Su Street to come to me, I noticed one of the bell boys watching the children and worrying about them and he dashed out to help them cross at that moment when the traffic was coming. Again, I did not tip for several days until the end, but I found there service excellent. The breakfast buffet had about 15 cold selections(fruit, salads etc), 7 hot/heated selections, and congee, another soup and pho as well as croissants and breads and even cheese. The pho was better than the pho restaurants outside that were rated high on trip advisor. Different than what we get in US, but still delicious. My niece had two bowls every morning. Overall excellent staff, great food, very clean!

Comfortable stay
The hotel is not a big one but have all the things needed. Staffs are friendly that helped us even to get SIM cards instead of us going to look for it. Breakfast is yummy.
