Satisfactory
We stayed in March 2016. We check in as a couple and got upgraded to a family room. Room looks a bit rundown. Not very clean and the room smells. We had another couple friend and they got a nicer room. Staffs was just ok. They kept on saying that we didn't pay for the room when j have showed them prove that I have already paid for the room. Took them so long to actually resolve the issue when the problem had got nothing to do with us.

Super Friendly and Helpful Staff
I have stayed in many hotel of all class. The people behind the counter and the staff are as accommodating as any, anywhere. I came here with little expectation and I will leave with the highest acclaim for this place!

Okay Stay, Much Better Hotels Elsewhere in Hanoi
Even though we provided our flight information we waited close to an hour for our airport pickup because the driver had gone to the wrong terminal. We had reserved a room with two single beds but the room we were given had only one bed. They had us wait in the lobby while they set up another room. After about 30 minutes of waiting we just left our luggage and went for dinner. The staff was very helpful / apologetic while correcting their mistakes. The room itself was clean, although short on charm. The bathroom was not the one in the pictures. Our room faced out onto an extremely busy street and was quite loud. In short: a lot of hassle for only so-so accommodations, especially compared to the other hotels we stayed at in Hanoi.

A perfect little place
Stayed here for our 5 night stay in Hanoi and were very pleased. The staff, Stephen and Minh in particular, went out of their way to help us. The hotel is on the edge of the old quarter so is easy to find and for taxis to get to. The rooms were good and have recently been upgraded. We had a room lower down which was fine but I think the higher floors may have been quieter, further away from the very noisy old quarter. I'd recommend this hotel.

Great value for money
To each his own as far as reviews and expectations are concerned ... but seriously for this price, I think the hotel delivered more than satisfactorily. We got a nice big room that was, in my opinion, beautifully decorated, and a decent firm mattress to sleep on. A modest but decent breakfast was included. The hotel location was great , just on the fringes of the Old Quarter so walking distance to all the little streets and down to Hoan Khim Lake. We thought staff service was generally excellent, and in particular to Minh the customer service manager, and Vin the customer service executive. Both were always ready to be of assistance. We would stay here again.

Comfortable clean and friendly
Omelettes nicest breakfast. Bathroom good. I like semi-firm bed so suited me.
I found the staff friendly and the room spacious for my needs. Everything worked and comfy. I recommend asking for rear room as quieter than front. The rooms with view just look onto noisy expressway,

Could use a real deep clean
Nice staff, location OK, elevator
Unfortunately this hotel (or my room at least) is very dirty. Yes, they have people come every day to make your bed, but the grime on the walls of the bathroom and bedroom is simply not acceptable for a hotel with a 3-star rating. Noticing brown spots on the bathroom wall, I wet a piece of toilet paper and they came off - these are stains that could easily be removed with a bit of elbow grease and some soap & water, which makes you wish the hotel would just get in there and really clean the darn place! Soap scum on the shower walls, dust on the door moldings... Anyway, my other grievance was the bed was simply sitting on the floor- no bed frame, nothing. I get that in certain Asian cultures a bed on the floor was normal, but with a Western-style box spring and mattress, you want the bed elevated off the floor to allow for ventilation, which is hugely important in humid conditions to avoid mould. (Never mind aesthetically you want it off the floor to avoid looking like you're in a frathouse...or a flophouse!) I peeled back the sheets and noticed a lot of stains around the edges of the mattress, not sure if it was mould or something worse (evidence of bed bugs?). Needless to say, I slept in my sleep sack for 3 nights. Nice staff at the front desk, really a shame the hotel is not being well maintained because with a real cleaning and investment in furniture (like a bedframe!) it would be a good choice - it's near the Old Quarter and right on Hanoi's famous "coffee street."
