Bad service

The receptionists made me feel as if I owe them a living - is it really that hard so smile? Even a wee bit? They are considered my first few points of contact when I arrived in Hong Kong so I guess their tardy attitudes created a snowball effect for the rest of my stay at Harbour Hotel. The water heater was terrible, TV completely didn't work and the sink had colgate stains on it :(

Very small room, cockroach infestation

Courteous staff and quick check in
Cockroach on the bed, bed linen not changed, poor water system - cannot control - either too hot or too cold. Hotel exterior look goods but terrible interior

No standard for room amenities

Good location but some dissappointment about experiences - It's too much for charging the deposit of 200 HKD/room by cash. Other hotel accept the credit card with just only reserve the credit limit. This make us don't have enough cash for food stuff. We have to use credit card which normally charge the exchange rate fee to us. - The towel in the bahtroom was frayed at first for all 3 nights. The floor mat was prepared for some day (not everyday).

Worst Hotel our seen.
We feel we have been cheated.We have traveled to many countries never seen such worst hotel. Rooms are dirty. No refrigerator or cupboard even two star hotels have basic things.

good location but small room.

location, price and breakfast included
Had stayed this hotel numerous time. Although room very small and no extra space to lay out lugguage, but for the prices you paid to stay in expensive Hong Kong its considered ok for me as I just need a bed to sleep. But during my stay this time, aircon were very weak, whole room were stuffy even after 1 hour. Approached reception, to request change of room but fullhouse. In the end were given a box fan. Location near Mongkok subway and near to ladies street and flower street(shopping area in Mongkok). Airport bus jz a 10min walk to Grand Tower Building. Will stay there again.

Good location

Friendly staff, convenience, value for money

Final Days

price, location and helpful staff
Generally good as I primarily used the hotel just for a place to crash and sleep. Room was very cramped with no closet to store clothes and luggage.

great for budget travellers

Location, location, location!
For a budget traveler like me, Habour hotel would be a great choice. Located near the MTR, you could go around HK using their efficient train system. It is also located in the city, so getting a taxi to the airport at 5am is no problem at all.

Unpleasant Stay

Location in terms of walking distance to MTR was short.
My friend and I stayed in Harbour Hotel for a period of 4 nights.We were really disatisfied with our stay. Staff were not friendly nor welcoming. We changed a total of 3 rooms during our stay.The first room we checked into did not have a door to the toilet, it was replaced by shower curtains. And the aircon did not work. The second room we checked into had a door without a lock for the toilet and they was hair blocking the shower drainage. Gross ! On the second night the aircon didnt work and made some really loud noises. When we feedback, we were told that the hotel was running on 100% occupancy and there was no spare room for change nor could the hotel arrange for a transfer to another hotel. Instead we were offered a fan and to have our windows open through the night or we could leave the hotel @ 1am and find ourselves another hotel and our stay would be refunded. we had no choice but to take the first option and the hotel refunded us that nights' stay. The next day we were given a new room again and thankfully the aircon worked fine. However they left us a half drank bottled water and cups with coffee stains. The toilet door not only had no lock but now came with a peephole. Oh yes, the bedsheets had stains. It was the most horrible stay ive ever had. Horrible would be an understatement.
