Black water and smelly
On the first night , water in our family rooms 238-240 came with black sand and smelly... We told the staff and they open the water and let it flow until the water became clear. Room 240 sink tap very tight and cannot close properly after open. The second night , water was clear but full of chlorine smell...

Great for kids, extremely friendly staff
The room we were given was small, dirty and worn down, we got the room most far from everything with a wiew over a dirty roof.. The childrens pool smelled really bad, had to leave in all our bathing suits for laundry after we left. But all that asides we would stay here again, because of location, breakfast, childrens club, the big pool and for the exelent staff. There were also a lot to do such as yoga, fruit carving, dancing..

Lovin' life here!
We spent 2 nights at Harris Resort Kuta Beach Bali in March of 2016. The property, facilities, restaurant, pool and location are all most excellent!! Room are large and well decorated and the water is HOT and the Air Con is COLD! The immediate 250 meter area is packed with places to shop, things to see and spots to eat and have a drink at. The Beachwalk Mall, right next door is a great place to spend some time during the day or night. Shops run from basic to high end and the food choices are varied and very good. Poppies Lane II, about 50 meters away, is an interesting small road to walk and discover all that Bali has in the way of T shirts, wood carvings, sarongs, etc... Be sure to walk across the street to Kuta Beach and play on the wide sandy beach or walk for kilometers in either direction. The waves are small and gentle and a fine spot to give surfing a try! The Harris is a wonderful place for any one, young or old, to stay and enjoy all that the Kuta Beach area has to offer!

You can do it all from here!
We spent 3 days in mid March, Hubby, Wife, 10 yr old son and 7 yr old son. Rooms were very nice; clean, comfortable and adjoining, with hot water and cold Air Con! The beach is right across the street and the Beachwalk Mall is right next door. The staff was most attentive and the breakfast buffet was delicious and filling. The cook to order eggs were great and their omelettes were excellent. The 'concierge' was able to quickly and cost effectively arrange for day trips around Bali, from 1/2 day outings to 8 hr full excursions. The pool is great for kids and the Kids Club has activities for all ages. The Harris has a wide selection of activities for 'adults' as well, ranging from Yoga to cooking classes. The price for a car to The WaterBom Water Park was only a 75,000 Rp car ride from The Harris and is a wonderful spot to spend about 5 hrs slipping and sliding away the time. The other restaurants and shops in the immediate 250 meter area provide a great array of things to eat, see and do, but the beach is the biggest attraction~ wide, sandy, safe and with easy waves to try surfing. At 0600 in the morning, the beach is deserted and the ocean and the air are the same temperature, 28C or 82F, and delightful. Poppies Lane II is just passed the Mall and is a GREAT spot to shop for the little things that will remind you of your visit to Bali and McDonald's is only 150 meters further away! You can probably fond cheaper lodging in the area, but not as close to everything or with all that The Harris has to offer. We will be back!!!
