Cheap priced hotel early in the week

Good location being only a stone throw away from Macau Casinos and the ferry terminal is close too. Room was clean and well presented but the bed is rock hard and it felt like sleeping on a plank of wood!! Main reception speaks some English but forget about trying to talk in English to the doormen or wait staff. Lifts and front Lobby still smell of smoke (maybe from the small casino)Breakfast was ok and did the job. If the bed was better then I would stay their again.

I recently stayed at the Waldo Hotel in a deluxe room. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well designed. This is probably one of the cheaper hotels available in Macau. It is very close to the pier and walking distance to city center. If you are looking to stay in the Cotai area where the mega resorts are, this hotel is obviously not for you, but if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel that's walking distance to the historical parts of town, this is a good deal.
