Great base to explore this part of England

Spa, room size, VFM
We stayed in the old part of the hotel and had a very large room. Bed extremely comfortable and huge. Complimentary wine & choccies appreciated. Buffet breakfast was good with large choice and served till 11:00. The gym/spa is excellent and the massage treatments not too outrageously priced. Didn't play golf but the course looked interesting. The location is great to explore the Cotswolds, Malvern Hills and Wye valley. We ate it town at Owens which is highly recommended. All in all a very relaxing weekend at a sensible price.

gathering for a local Christening

Spa, Location
Several couples stayed for a local Christening, which was held at a local church and then a lunch held elsewhere. I originally booked a room for my relations actually at reception as I live locally and I am a member of the Fitness spa. I was surprised at the cost but booked anyway for 2 nights. Then I found out that if I booked with AGODA I saved almost half the cost. I rang the reception and was told if I wanted to I could cancel and go with whoever I wanted, so I cancelled and went wilh Agoda, not only did you save me a lot of money but you were extremely helpful and polite.

Opinion of our stay

Swimming pool, gym and food
We were allocated a room overlooking the bins, which was noisy early morning, which was not good considering we were staying 4 nights. There appeared to be vacant rooms of the same standard in a better position available, which were given to people later staying 1 - 2 nights. The bed though spacious was very hard. The sheets were not changed even though they stated they changed them every 3 days and worst of all bath towels were left on the floor for changing as instructed and the same ones appeared to have been hung up again. Needless to say, when we checked out we were not asked if we enjoyed our stay although we never actually complained about anything. We would not stay there again.

2 star masquerading as a 4 star

Staff. Gardens. Staff
Small room certainly not double deluxe. Soap gel etc for one! No bidet. No a/c. Room too hot to sleep in. Window prevented from opening more than an inch because the terrace next door backed onto the window!! Terrace was covered in weeds and green mould. Location ok if you played golf otherwise a drive to Tewkesbury for any shopping. Our fault bad, bad choice. Would not go back. Several guests made the same complaints, especially no a/c. Felt sorry for the staff who bore the brunt of the frustrations. They were very good.

You won't be disappointed with this hotel!

Friendly and helpful staff within the hotel and Escape Spa, fantastic food and lovely rooms
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the hotel is in a lovely setting. The staff are a definate asset to the hotel and the management should be very proud of them. I would definately stay here again, in fact we are going back to stay for a hen weekend! All in all, a fantastic stay.

Always good

Leisure facilities are brilliant
Always good, and I say the same thing every time, which is, can only afford to stay in low season. Also we never eat at Puckrup Hall as evening meals are very expensive, by restaurant standards!

oase van rust in golf gebied. Engelse klasse.
