Shared bathroom, early check in
The hotel serves the shareb bathrooms, however, it's quite clean. In addition, i arrived the hotel around 6am and can make an early check in together be served for a breakfast. The room is reasonable for the price. No TV. The near the Botataung pagoda by walk around 15 mins.

If you can afford to go somewhere else, do it.
cleanliness of the shared bathrooms and showers
This place is a hole ! We've booked for two nights there and only stayed one. We knew before booking this hotel that it would be basic and budget, which is what we were looking for. The room was actually really tiny, with low ceiling and windowless. The worst we've noticed that the bedsheets were dirty. I've asked the receptionist to give me new ones, which he did, but still they weren't clean. Impossible to sleep during the night due to the leaking air-con and a noise coming from outside our room which looked like an machine sound. Bathrooms and showers are shared and very clean (the only good point of this place actually), however it's mixed, so girls and boys shower in the same area. The amenities are really old too. We know that the hotels standards are different in Myanmar and that a very basic room can be expensive. However there is no way to pay 20$ a night for a place like this.

Good option!
Good location very close to the center, the room and the shared bathroom were very clean, the staff very helpful
Our room was very simple but very clean. It's close to the center with many restaurants options around and the staff are very helpful, we had a bus early in the morning and they made us breakfast anyways. I'm going back to yangon at the end of the month and i will go back to this hostel.

Damp.
The first room stank badly of damp, the second room smelled moderately of damp and was the best available. Nowhere to hang clothes. Not even a solitary hook. Spent 1 hour stuck in a shower cubicle as the handle had rusted to pieces internally. No apology was forthcoming for the inconvenience. Cut my foot trying to get out and developed a severe infection as the place was a fetid.

Very basic hostel with nice staff.
Very nice staff. Quite good location.
The entrance scares little (and rooms locked with padlocks too) but everything is clean and the atmosphere is nice.

Unexpectedly lovely place, very helpful staffs
Staffs' services, cleanliness, Value for money
The counter staff helped us to book bus and tour. They have been very efficient and helpful. The owner was very kind to provide us with a lot of information and also served us traditional myanmar breakfast and some organic vegetables apart from the bread and eggs. The condition of the hotel looks bad from outside but the room and shared bathroom are surprisingly very clean and brightly lit. Also surprise that they do room cleaning for such a price. Highly recommended.

One choice to go!
Helpful staffs, adequate breakfast
Located on the lower side of downtown, as clean as the building allowed (old by time), varieties of breakfast provided, useful staffs and (probably owner)! Just fine bathroom as it is getting old by the venue age! One of the choice for my next visit!!!

Basic but ok
Good location, shower and toilets good
Stay was fine. Very basic room with no mirror (twin room) but good air con. Didn't feel very secure as anyone could have walked up to the second floor but I think they had cctv. They give you a padlock to lock your door from the outside only.
