Great location, especially for the price.

The hotel itself was decent, great price for the location. The toilet was clogged, the staff "fixed" it, but it was the same afterwards. You can't close the thick curtains, only can do that with the white sheer ones, so the room gets too bright at 6:00 a.m.

Good Location, Poor Service, Worst Hospitality

BAD experience with this hotel right after booked it. As my husband and I planned to stay in NY from 28 Aug, I booked the hotel on 12 Aug, requested for a non-smoking room and the higher floor and paid immediately as required. I sent an email on 14 Aug to the hotel to follow up on the requests , ask for infm on local tours and airport pick up, no reply. I called the tollfree line, they couldn’t help but referred me to the hotel. I sent another email to the hotel on 16 Aug, still no reply. I told the hotline there is no reply to my emails, they said they couldn’t help so I asked for the Complaint Dept which I sent an email on 17 Aug, no reply. As I was leaving HK on 25 Aug, I couldn’t wait but to call the hotel. I spoke to the Reservation who marked down the non-smoking room request. Then I spoke with Customer Care about the pick up who told me they have only transport from hotel to airport. She suggested taking a taxi and was not keen on providing infm on other public transports. I asked her who handles the incoming email since I have sent severals but no reply, she refused to answer. As I insisted, she hang up the phone. On 24 Aug, I received a reply from FO Manager who noted the non-smoking room request and provided simple/similar answers to other questions, no sorry for replying 10 days after the inquiry was sent. When checking in on 28 Aug, I was given a smoking room on the 3rd floor. The Receptionist and the FO Manager said "Request is not guaranteed, it is noted but no guarantee", "a higher or a non-smoking room is available at an additional charge", no sorry no smile. For all the follow up works, I could not understand why a simple request was not handled. There is no hospitality, no smiling face at the reception or the concierge, except the house keeping lady who was very helpful and smiles all the time. The room was quite small but clean. The wifi always got disconnected.
