great place to stay at

clean, comfortable and very friendly staff
Stayed for 2 nights during early march, there is still fresh snowfall during this time of the year although not heavy snowfalls. Aircons are off during winter thus everyone leaves room balcony opened. The room can be a little stuffy so we asked for a fan and they provided us with one to keep the air circulation going. Location of resort is good, just right infront of the slopes however there could be more stores and shops, it can get a little boring after some time. Slopes are not very high but great for ski and snowboarding, there are not many people but at times there may be tour groups that will hog up the lower slope so you may need to shift over to the higher slopes to play. Ski and snowboarding lessons are really costly going at 80000won per pax for groups of 5 and above and for 2 pax lessons costs 240000won and its only a 2 to 3 hour beginners lesson. We gave up on the lessons and decided to just give it a try ourselves, if you are lucky you can get to know some of the amature korean skiiers or snowboarders there and they may offer you advice on how to ski and snowboard if you are daring enough to talk to them. Overall its fun and the hotel is great and well decorated but also a tiring trip as it takes 2.5hrs to get there from dong seoul bus station and is super cold when windy so make sure you bring a warmly lined windbreaker or ski jacket if you have any.

Great view, comfy hotel

Location, View, Cleanliness
I arrived at hotel around 1.30 pm and they gave me the room right away. You have to drag your luggage from welcome center to the hotel during winter time it's pretty troublesome. Took about 5-10 mins dragging my luggage through snow. The slope view ondol room is amazing. It's very convenient to walk to the ski house bacause it's right next to the hotel. Many restaurants and mininarts around hotel. Wonderful for family vacation.
