Good budget hostel
With this place you get what you pay for. Its a really good place for that price. I got bedbugs bites in my bed but my boyfriend didnt. Its about 30 min subway ride to Shibuya.

Cheap, but...
The beds in the two rooms we saw were full of hairs, the mattrasses stained. When demanding redress, we were told this was a 'cheap hostel'. After all, hadn't we been provided sheets? So why the fuss? Apart from that, the receptionist was unwelcoming and ill-behaved, avoiding eye contact, hardly ever saying hello, his "WHAT?" betokening a mixture of mild irritation and indifference. As stated above, though, the hostel is cheap and well located.

Fine, nothing special.
For the price, it's pretty good, but isn't super clean. There are lots of smelly, grimey corners, and for some reason the cleaners start around 9, which is usually when people are trying to get ready to go out. The bar is decent, and can be a fun social place. Overall, not bad.

You get what you pay for. Overall, it was satisfactory staying there. Wifi did not work in the twin room on the first night we arrived. It was fixed the next day. Quite peaceful but smoky on the 1st floor as it is kinda bar. The male staff was nice and tried his best to help but he was drunk himself :).

Good location, staff not good.
Stay in the dormitory, gets cold at night and heater was not working. Had it fixed after 2 days. Nearby to asakusa station, and good area to explore. If you are early you can drop of luggage band come back, staff don't show you around the hostel and tell you where stuff is.
