Room was small but clean- Employees very helpful

Location was good
The noise from train 10 meters from our window during the whole nights was terrible. Impossible to sleep. Pictures from internet does not show a correct picture of the hotel.Employers in reception was very helpful with maps and advice of what to see etcetera. Will choose another hotel next time. Location good
Travel tip: Close to shopping in Soho and nice resturants in Little Italy. Close to Brooklyn Bridge

Doesnt feel good

Near to Chinatown
i dont like this hotel. the feeling was strange at the moment i stepped into the lobby. the lighting in the room was strange too. couldnt describe the feeling but it wasnt a cosy-feeling place at all. for this money, i would recommend hotel mulbery which is just a street away.
Restaurant Tip: very close to chinatown and little italy. can have dinner over there.

Cozy hotel, soft bed but noisy

Good price for 2 double beds, near to East Broadway subway station, friendly staff
Hotel is in the midst of Chinatown and not very conspicuous, but taxi driver should know how to get there. A bit difficult to get heavy luggages up and down small flight of stairs to get to the lift area. Nice staff at the reception and even recommended us places to dine nearby. There's free coffee and tea in the lobby, not great tasting, but nice gesture for cold wintry days. Rooms aren't the biggest but beds are soft and comfortable. Generally clean rooms and shower area. Only thing was internet was via cable and not WIFI, which is a little inconvenient for 2 travellers. Could work on getting WIFI or better LAN cables. Otherwise, happy with my stay.

Reasonable hotel but noisy

Pricing is very reasonable in the area, given the facilities and conditions provided
I moved from another hotel after my first nite in NYC which is just around the corner, and found it is about 25% cheaper but with a 30% space larger, not to mention its a bit out of proportion bathroom. I would regard it is very reasonably priced, with a nice bed, flat-screen tv, split-type air-conditioner, a working desk (though narrow), a closet & iron. Towels are very new and clean too. It is about 3 min walk to the nearest Metro Station which however is the F Train which is less connected to other lines. However, it is at the edge of the Chinatown, so depending on one's preference it could be a plus or minus. Also the shower in weak and the hot water is not steady. Worse, the B & D Trains are running 24hr/day just some 25m away!
Restaurant Tip: Lots of inexpensive eateries around, at even very late or early hours!

Hotel 91 - NYC

It was close to the centre of New York, located in lower east side and therefore a couple of metro stops from places like empire state building. Very clean and the people were very friendly.
A great place to stay if you want to be close to the centre and not bothered about the area its located. The surrounding area is not the bast. It was close to the centre of New York, located in lower east side and therefore a couple of metro stops from places like empire state building. Very clean hotel and great value for money. The staff were friendly and the amenities available are suitable for that kind of hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Once you get into NYC, buy a 1 week metrocard or 1 month dpending on how long you stay there, it works out much cheaper and the easiest way to travel. Also if travlling to and from Newark Int. Airport use the NJ transit as opposed to Amtrak the same thing but at least half the price.
