Not worth it.
Desperately needs renovations. Cabins are very old and outdated. No sound proofing at all, could hear everything in neighbouring cabins. No heating or cooling. Very disappointing.

OK place to stay
Proximity to Ferry, Nice shore line walk
Although the cabin we rented was overall OK, and we had a comfortable enough night, that was about it. It badly needs an overhaul (the entire cabin lists) and the kitchen/lounge floor looked like it hadn't been washed. The cabinets and the fixtures are looking rather shabby. Linens etc. were clean though. Sadly, they don't provide recycling bins, so lacks the environmental conscientiousness. The park itself is well kept though.

Accommodation was ok staff were lovely
I would have to say the staff, the place was near the beach and very quiet during the day.
Our stay at the Abel Tasman was ok but you could here what we thought were freight trains at night

Overnight before the ferry
Friendly welcome, easy access, clean cabin
A very good experience. WE only stayed one night as we'd only travelled to Tassie to collect an old wreck of a car and needed to catch the day ferry back to Melbourne. Lady at reception friendly and helpful. Cabin very clean and tidy. Simple but perfectly adequate. Easy access for large 4WD with big trailer. No noisy neighbours, excellent access to town and ferry terminal. No dramas at all. Everything worked like clockwork. I'd certainly stay again and recommend the place to friends and colleagues.
