Convenient and friendly.

Very convenient. Inexpensive. Very good quality service for the price range.
The rooms are unsurprisingly small, but nevertheless are comfortable. The one big drawback is that the television will tend to default initially to give you a minute-long "taster" of the three pay-tv channels, of which two show programs about men and women with no clothes on performing very close-order drill, and the third is Star Trek dubbed into Japanese. Okay if you're a salaryman who is travelling for work -- not-so-okay if you are travelling with a child or children. Breakfast (in the lobby) is a "Viking" (smorgasbord) breakfast, with coffee available for free from the lobby vending machine. Breakfast is included in the room tariff. There are a number of decent cafes, restaurants and izakayas nearby at the railway station if you're too late for the Viking Breakfast. Internet connections are now wireless, with a hotspot available on each floor. There are also two Internet-connected desktop computers available for guests' use in the lobby. There is a coin laundry, with dryers, available on the ground floor. Irons and other small appliances, as well as extra blankets and pillows, are also available for free. English-only speakers might find a little difficulty being understood, though.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: The nearby town of Tomonoura (bus leaves from Stop 5 at the bus terminal outside the station) is probably one of Japan's hidden gems, and well worth visiting.

Convenient location but very small room and bed

Loaction, Price
We did not really enjoyed our stay. The hotel room are very very small and the "Small Double Bed" is actually an over-sized single bed, you can't put two persons to sleep on the bed. Service is also below-par. We could not get hotel booking in Hiroshima over the Thanksgiving period so we had to settle for Fukuyama. The location was very convenient as a base for seeing the Kuroshiki and Okayama area.

Had an awesome stay, wish it had been longer!

The hotel was quite modern and there was complementary breakfast!
check in is only at 3 pm, but the staff are very helpful and kept our baggage, taking it to our room before we had returned to check in. one big disadvantage is a lack of free wifi. if you do not have a japanese service provider this can be a real issue.

Free breakfast - jap style
this place is a bit far from hiroshima, but if you have a shink pass then is ok
Travel tip: This place is a bit far from hiroshima, but by the shink is ok. Theres some things to do in town, try around the station for nightlife - charlie's bar is good.

Not in Hiroshima

Near to the Train station
We booked this hotel last minute as it was the cheapest option in Hiroshima. However once we go near the Hiroshima we found out that the hotel is actually a 20 minutes train ride with the Shinkansen. Nevertheless it was OK for us as we took the train for Osaka in the morning which was already the right direction :) Also there is a nice bar down the road with funny looking Japanese ;) They have been very happy that we visited the bar and we had a funny evening. I recommend the hotel if you are visiting Hiroshima during the day and on the way to Osaka or Kyoto.
Travel tip: We actually thought this hotel is in Hiroshima but it is a 20 minutes train ride with the Shinkansen
