Late arrival
Our boat arrived late so we were a little tired and emotional :-) The lady on reception was OK but she left us to sort out another couple in a neighbouring hotel so we couldn't get in to our rooms for over 30 mins. Rooms great, if a little compact. Location is nice but not central to the town. Would go again. Motorbike store in other hotel basement was good, bit pricey and probably not needed. No good bike parking at this hotel.

Great ambiance and location.
Friendly and helpful reception. Beautiful building with great patio area overlooking the beach. Comfortable bed.
We loved the ambiance and location of the hotel. There was plenty of on street parking which appeared to be safe. The room was beju having to fully open the bathroom door to access the toilet which could have been an issue for a longer stay. This was compensated for by the ambiance and location of the hotel. Also there was a downstairs TV/relaxing room available. We did not have meals at the hotel.

A pretty room, many paintings and period furniture
Attractive hotel, rich textures, comfortable but cramped room.
Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English. Room was small, but pretty with nice furnishings. Internet free, but only in public areas. Breakfast was limited selection, but inexpensive. Close to beach and pleasant walks along beach and promenade. Close to Pizza Hut and three other restaurants. We were able to walk one kilometre into town, via a tunnel,, but buses are also close. We arrived by ferry from Portsmouth, and paid €6 for taxi ride to the hotel.

Nice hotel, tiny room
Great location, nice decor
This is a lovely, recently refurbished hotel with the beautifull Sardinero beach just across the road. Bus stop one street away, and the city centre a few minutes by bus (cost €1.20 per person, each way). Local bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away, around the casino area. The whole area is completely non-touristy, very Spanish. The whole area was clean and very well cared for, lots of nice places to valk, parks and even a mini zoo on the peninsula. The hotel itself, with it's beautiful furnishings and decoration was quite friendly, but we were in the smallest hotel room I had ever seen! Very difficult for 2 people to move around in, the balcony had room for one chair, and the shower was tiny, had to press up against the wall to get the door open/closed (around my tummy!) if you are slender you will be fine. The hotel also carries noise easily, not from outside, but from other guests climbing the staircase, entering rooms etc. We stayed for 2 nights, and this was fine, but any longer I would look elsewhere.

A bit far located from the crack!
right beside the Sardinero Beach, cheap option if beach is all you want!
Hotel is located in Sardinero Beach which is a very beutiful beach but very turistic, so it is not much going on when it's not summer time! City centre is full of live with plenty of tapas bar for a really good value! Th ehotel is situated about 30min walking distance from the centre of the city. The good thing is that a taxi to come back a noght time it only cost fiver, so not too bad considering that the hotel wasn't expensive. Not worthy to pay the 5 eur extra the hotel charges for breakfast. You can get a better breakfast in one of the cafeterias situated just a 5 min walk from the hotel. Be careful with this as most of the sites I visited they say the breakfast is complementary but it is not. Anyway free or not it's not worth it.
