Great location, older than it present online
Very close to the beach and Promenade de la Croisette
i really enjoyed the proximity of the cannes palace hotel to the beach, and the main strip. it only took around three minutes to walk to the beach and the beautiful hotels of the promenade de la croisette. i loved the convenience factor of this hotel. while the room was a good size and i enjoyed my stay, i must mention that the rooms were much older and less modern than they present online in their photo album. they need to renovate the rooms, and upgrade the bathrooms. for instance, the hairdryer had to be from the 1970s, seriously. i hadn't seen a hairdryer like that in my lifetime. night, the hotel was definitely overpriced considering it's lack of attractiveness and amenities. also, the 19 euros you have to pay for wifi per day is just ridiculous, and unprecedented in all of my hotel stays, ever. you are forced to work out of a business center if you don't pay for wifi, which i definitely did not pay for. the business center has three imac computers with keyboards that don't work. they should just get some nice, cheaper, high end pcs.

Within walking distance of Le Croissette.
Rooms are set for a makeover end of this year
Cannes Palace is not a palace just yet! The Outside of the property is ok set two rows back from Le Croisette which is the main promenade in Cannes. The Reception, Bar and restaurant is newly restored modern and decorated tastefully. There is a sign on the wall in reception saying retoration project 2009 for the 5th and 6th floor rooms to be restored in line with the decor of the ground floor foyey. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was like stepping back in time with the colour scheme and the decor. The bedroom was spacious and as we stayed in a family room it had two double beds. The bathroom comprising of bath/(shower on wall inside bath), double sink, mirror and 70's stle hairdryer attached to wall.Through a seperate door was a toilet. All I must say was CLEAN.We had a small balcony with 2 plastic chairs and a small plastic table. You could hear and see regular trains passing along (in line with the back of La Croisette road) when outside however because of the double sliding doors once you shut the inner door it was very well insulated you couldnt here a thing. We had a walk around and walked down to a typical french bar on the coener which did great coffee for a euro. They did not serve food until after 12 o'clock so we just had a croissant for 1.5 euro and watched the world go by.As we had two small children who dont get an appretite until midday that suited us fine to have a small bite and eat at one of the numerous restaurants on the croisette lunchtime.CANNES PALACE has a small roof top pool and sunbathing area but if you wanted beach you needed to walk down to the Croisette and slum it on the public beach, pay 7Euro's for a deck chair seat or pay 20 Euro per person per day for a private bed.THE DUNES is the beachfront restaurant/bar that has sunlounges set on the private beach and section of water. We paid for 3 beds between the four of us as our youngest sat on the sand making sand castles most of the time!We had some very nice meals at the Dunes during the da

Très confortable. Personnel agréable et compétent
Confort. Calme. Situation proche Croisette.
Confortable, reposant. Notre chambre désuète mérite d'être rafraichie mais nous avons bénéficié d'un tarif préférentiel donc cela ne nous a pas dérangé.

Unterer Durchschnitt
- Schoene Eingangshalle - Zentrumsnah - Parkplatz - Hilfsbereit, als Klimaanlage ausgefallen ist
- Veraltete Zimmer - Ueberteuertes Fruehstueck - Peinliches Swimming-Pool
