Short but sweet
Cleanliness, location, value for money.
I booked the hotel as an Agoda secret deal a few hours before our arrival in Paris and I have no regrets. The only downside is the weak wifi signal in our room which was denied by the hotel staff.

Modern, friendly and reasonably well located
Staff, beautiful rooms, comfortable bed
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was a 'garden view' room but I wouldn't really call that a garden. It was very parisien though, looking out into a shared courtyard of all the buildings backing onto one another. Being able to open the windows in a hotel room is always great and these were lovely big windows. The room had been recently renovated and was lovely. A really comfortable bed and rainfall shower made it a lovely place to come back to after a long day. There is a breakfast available but we never utilised it as there are a number of cafes nearby. The location, next to Hotel des Invalides, is pretty good for those looking to do tourist stuff. We walked to Le Tour Eiffel and even to the Champs Elysees but my friend and I don't mind distance. It's very close to two metro stations and the RER is also walking distance. My only qualm is that the metro line it is one is not one of the better ones so sometimes we had to make roundabout journeys to get where we were going to avoid multiple changes. I'm not sure this would trouble those wanting to do the main tourist things though as most of those are very close. I read some reviews and a few people mentioned noise in the rooms. I did hear things from time to time but it wasn't too much for me. I always travel with earplugs anyway as it is not surprising to have noise with so many people living in close proximity. I recommend this hotel, it ticks the boxes for tourists and has reliable internet too! The rooms are lovely and location is good for 'the sights'.

Smal but friendly boutique hotel
Located close to most of the major attractions, with nicely designed rooms and friendly staff
My wife and I spent the weekend in this hotel during our stay in Paris. We chose this hotel because it was close to the Eiffel Tower without being to far from all of the other attractions. The hotel itself is very small, with small hallways. The lift is very narrow and barely big enough for two people. I could see this being a problem for people with large wheelchairs or those with a fear of small spaces! Aside from this, the rooms were small and clean, but not as small as some people make out. The bathrooms were spacious despite some reviews stating they were small. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our booking did not include breakfast and we ate elsewhere, so cannot comment on the quality of the food. Overall, I was very happy with my stay at Hotel De l'Empereur Paris.

location, quiet, cleaniness
The lift is really small. The shower leaks all the way to the main bedroom.

Enjoyable stay with Invalides view
Accessible to metro & Invalides
Hotel room was clean & spacious for us. We paid for the room facing Invalides & we were able to view it from our room & bathroom. Wifi is free but with no breakfast provided. No airport transfer available & we had took taxi to the Airport. There was no taxi around the premises during morning peak hour & we had to walk to metro to get a taxi.

Lovely hotel with a great location
Great location, good restaurants and amenities nearby
The hotel was clean and room was of a good size for a couple. We got the corner room so interestingly the shower and basin was separated from the toilet seat. Receptionists could speak English and were friendly. There were amenities within short walking distance (like pharmacy, supermart and restaurants). About 5 mins walk from the nearest metro. There's a very good local restaurant just across the entrance of the hotel (which is within the top 50 good restaurants in Paris). A good stay for couples / friends. Perhaps not for family with kids. Like other hotels, the lift is small and fits 4 persons without luggage. Provision of basic necessities but no water boiler and fridge. Overall it was sufficient for my husband and I (newly weds).

Great location and clean fashionable rooms
The location to Rue Cler and metro.
Bathroom was larger than normal European hotels but configured in our room with the commode separate from the sink which was inconvenient and not the most functional. Location in a beautiful neighborhood. We paid for the view on the Invalides but from the second floor it wasn't worth the extra money.

Great location, lovely hotel, would stay again!
Location, location, location
we stayed here for two nights last week. i found the hotel was amazing for the very reasonable rates we got. the view from the room was spectacular and was comfortable with a nice sized shower and separate bathroom. the location is perfect, two minutes away from the metro which can be used to easily get around any central part of paris within ten - twenty minutes. a ten minute walk from the eiffel tower and surrounded by lovely cafes, pharmacy and a supermarket. the staff were very helpful even though we had dreadful french! overall had a magnificent time, would recommend this hotel to my friends and family and would definitely stay again.

Perfect Little Paris Hotel
Location, Staff, and Confrotable Rooms
We were actually upgraded for free to a room with a view of Lest Invalides. The room was very comfortable and the bath was excellent. A great little part of my Paris memories will include this hotel.

Good Location, advertising a bit misleading
Location is right near the metro and right in the middle of some of the important parts of Paris, service was great, small but nice room
We had a lovely time, we enjoyed the room, the location etc Parisian hotels are very different to what you might be use to, this hotel does not offer laundry service, it has no restruant it does not have a mini bar etc, they are a small establishment and as such to keep their hotel at the correct standards they are stricter against certain things we might not be use to for example no eating in the room. They offer thier rooms at an appropriate rate according to Parisian standards while they are great value for money in Paris I would not normally spend that amount of money on a hotel in other locations such as Sydney/Melbourne. The only thing we didn't like was the room says romantic garden view, there is no garden to view, to get the good view it is just a room with a view... and it was a very basic room I wouldn't call it romantic as the walls were thin and you could hear everything that was going on in the corridor and your view was just a view of the side of the building.
