Great hotel close to the opera house
Breakfast is a little overpriced if you don't pay for it a package. My shower head wasn't working too well, but otherwise the hotel was great with all the comforts you'd expect, including a very comfy bed.

Good layback weekend and cultural experience
Booked this hotel based on a foreigner friend who used to live in Hanoi. Very reasonable price. Very happy with the hotel and service. Fantastic local food in the restaurant in hotel and lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Lounge on the ground floor was a small but quiet hideout where we enjoyed happy hour drinks every day! Staff service in every position were superb and friendly. Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent location for tourists with many of the popular spots within walking distance. And yet not too noisy like the ones too close to old quarters. Weather was a bit hot and humid tho. So we didn't spend much time outside. But the enjoyment from the great Vietnamese food and coffee was more than a make up. The only down side is probably that the rooms facing inside of the hotel are a bit gloomy because the atrium ceiling is covered so sunlight is shielded. So if you like bright windows, you should ask for a room facing the road. Some minor things in the room like the door of the wardrobe couldn't close up properly and lights not shut off. The flush water refill couldn't stop by itself after flushing. But the housekeeping people were quick to fix it. Will surely recommend the hotel to others.

It's ok
It is just ok. Grand Deluxe Rooms don't have a window facing the street or an outdoor area, according to the hotel staff. Also, the hallways are not well manteined - its carpets should be replaced. The rest was good. The rooms are updated, at least the one I stayed, and The location is great! The price is very good.

LOSING ITS SHINE
I've stayed here a lot but I'm really sick of trying to work out the lights in the rooms. There are 4 dimmer switches of which some work some don't. The other night it took me 5 minutes of messing around to turn the lights off fully. Then once they were off the din from the atrium started, kids running around screaming at 10.30 at night with the noise going straight up to the rooms on the atrium side. It's not the first time this has happened and the front desk staff, it appears, do nothing. The toilet didn't work properly and the cold water tap had a miserable flow of water. It's probably time for a refurb.

Great hotel; disappointing room
Stayed here before and enjoyed it. Still recommend for location, room size and quality. But this was not a good visit. Room facing very noisy street, smoking when requested NS, bathroom shower door would not shut and flooded bathroom. Staff not as responsive as they should have been but hotel was full.

Very average hotel as such a high price
Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Very average hospitality. Staff not bothered for the care at all. Rude at check in, I booked thru agoda. Not ready to accommodate requests. Was refused the bill as checkout saying that you will receive it thru agora. Empty restaurants and aesthetically very dark rooms. Would stay somewhere else during next visit
